I have several thermostats on the fan forced heaters in my garage but don't seem to be able to find replacements. Please advise on the type or where they can be found.

Answer:
The DTK-DP may be used with any line voltage unit up to a certain wattage. This unit is a field installed on both the baseboard and certain fan forced units. To better assist we would need to know the model number of the fan forced heater you are presently using.

The two coil electric heater that this might go onto is either a 1000 or a 1500 watt heater. Will this thermostat work on both of these wattages.. ?

I have spoken to the manufacturer and they no longer make replacement thermostats. All identifying information was painted over. Model and Serial # and such. Also, I have two heaters. One is on a 20 amp breaker the other is on a 30 amp breaker. Both double pole breakers, Of course.. !!

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Installed easily The last owner installed 5 baseboard heaters in the cottage and ran all 5 through one thermostat. Soon after we bought it we had a small "thermal incident", go figure. Since there was no way to easily put thermostats inline we went with these. Not perfect (mostly access due to where the wiring and the heaters are located) but they do the job. Each one took about 20 minutes to remove, disassemble, install the thermostat, reassemble and reinstall. 5 took several hours, just tedious, not hard. Instructions are clear. September 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install thermostat for Dimplex baseboard heater. Dimplex baseboard heaters do not come with a thermostat, so you have to buy one of these or a separate in-wall thermostat. These can be wired 120V or 240V. The instructions were easy to follow and the installation went smoothly. May 9, 2013
