The electric stove looks really good but doesn't perform the best. Maybe in a small, closed off room, it would do just fine but it lacks any real power. The thermostat only heats to about 75F and struggles to disperse it. Again, if looks and ambiance in a small room are what you want then this may be a good product. Also, I know the dimensions are plan to see but it still appears rather small. Something to keep in mind for a medium space.

Too bad I had to give even one star. Okay, one star for looks. This unit is very pleasing to the eye.
Worked beautifully for about 6 weeks and then the heater kept cutting off. FINALLY got through to customer service at Dimplex and was told that the warranty would not cover replacement of the unit, just parts. I'm not messing with this thing! The service person at Dimplex then told me to bring it back to Home Depot. I told them that I would be writing a review;(
Save yourself a headache and DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT!

Hey Avaition, i worked at Dimplex many moons ago and i can tell you that the reason the fan doesn't shut off is because a fan is required to keep the 'flame' illusion functioning. At least that's how they used to be. Fans can be noisy for sure but you might have some extra vibration there. I don't know why they couldn't just tell you that.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by aviation Very disappointed with this product/company
i recommend you do not buy this product. This product has a major flaw, When you turn the heater on, once it reaches the proper temperature, the heater element shuts off, but the fan keeps on running. The fan runs continually, whether the heater element is on or not. So it continually makes noise, even while not providing heat. I cannot understand why it would be this way.
The manual even states: “When the heater is switched on, the fan will operate. The heater element may or may not be on, depending on the thermostat control setting.”
As a result, a product which I would otherwise be very pleased and happy with, I am very disappointed and unhappy with. I have checked electric stoves from other manufacturers, and they do not do this. It is nothing short of silly to have to keep going to the back of the stove to turn the heater on and off, to keep from having the fan run continually.
Dimplex customer service is also non existant. I sent an e-mail to Dimplex, asking about this. They would not reply by e-mail, and only sent a number to call. The number they gave did not work in my area. So i had to e-mail them again. They sent a new number. I called this number and the recorded message said i was number 15 in line, after 15 minutes, i was still 15 in line. I e-mailed them again, and asked they reply to my e-mail and answer my questions. I also gave them my telephone number and asked them to call me. After 2 weeks, they have done neither.
Bottom line: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, OR OTHER PRODUCTS FROM DIMPLEX.
