Answer:
Please remove the batteries and re-install it. After installing the batteries, the unit's red LED light will flash continuously. Choose a new 3-digit bypass code and enter it.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.1 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellant alert system Easy to install and you can here it from anywhere in the house. May 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The alarm does what it says it will. The alarm uses a plunger type actuator instead of a magnetic one. Not an issue in my application but it could be on some doors. There are limited featurs such as a 15 second bypass feature when you want to exit but there is no bypass feature when entering from the outside since the bypass is on the alarm which is attached to the inside of the door. No bypass feature if you want to leave the door open as in the case you have a screen door and are leaving the door open. It will pass inspection but I might want an alarm with more bypass capability if I were to use for extended time. I remove the battery if having a party or multiple in and out trips are required and no childeren in the house. May 21, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great price, easy to install, BUT... These alarms are exactly what you need to pass your county inspection. The price is good and they're super easy to install. However, the sticky backing is not reliable! They kept falling off after closing a window! The sticky back just wasn't strong enough if you were going to open the window more than once. I suggest using silicone to keep them up there or they'll wake you up in the middle of the night because they fell off for no reason!! I still recommend this alarm b/c it's cheaper than most, works, and is available at your neighborhood Home Depot! January 10, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Product This product was horrible. I installed the product at the recommendation of my pool company. I followed the instructions, however poor, and the sensors were malfunctioning within hours. The sensors function best on doors, even though the packaging states they will work on windows. I could not get the sensors to function properly on windows. The sensors went off 19 times during the first night, until I finally disconnected them. The adhesive provided in the packaging is obviously not strong enough; however I even attempted to replace it and continued to have the same malfunctions. I contacted the company with the number provided on the packaging and a woman with a heavy accent answered and referred me to the website. She said she could not help with product issues. I had already looked at the website and decided that I needed to contact the company. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone, for anything. My only positive feedback is that HomeDepot allowed me to return the items- Thank you HD!! September 2, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buy it only if you need it to last an hour or two As other reviewers have noted, the sensor can only be attached with the double sided tape which gives up any semblance of attachment after an hour or two. You should NOT buy this if you actually want a door alarm to your pool area only if you just want something to pass inspection. I ended up attaching it with hot glue. I guess I'll just scrape it off later June 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointed We needed three security alerts for the pool to pass inspection. Two were fine, but we had to return five units until we got a properly-working alert. June 3, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality and bad design Although the alarm will probably get me through my pool inspection, I will need to take it down immediately since the adhesive tapes that came on it lasted less than 6 hours holding it on the wall and window and that was without the batteries even being in it. I had to replace all the double sided tape with another product to make it stick. June 21, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product, great price Great value and quality. Meets all the code requirements for pools, which is what we need. Price is low enough to not kill the budget when a house needs 8 alarms to pass inspection. The only downside is inserting the batteries- you must unscrew the back to access the battery area. Not difficult, but time consuming when you need to change batteries in multiple units! January 1, 2013
