This is a very good, compact water sensor. The audible alarm is very loud.

Product could have had instructions, but did figure it out. The sensor cord could also have been a little longer with a better method for attachment like a clip.

Installed this alarm a couple of years ago in the drain pan of our water heater. Wife called yesterday to ask what alarm might be going off behind our dryer. It is loud and distinctive (different from a fire alarm). Had the old water heater out and new one in just in time for Thanksgiving.

The prices is far from good for the protection it offer, easy to install and nice design.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dampcarpet Worked perfectly for the job
I bought this alarm for detecting and alert me to a water leak in my truck. With some slight modifications (making the cable longer, turning down the volume of the alarm and exposing the sensor prongs) I slipped the sensor under the floor carpet and it worked perfectly. I'm guessing it would work great for its intended use too.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DKTX Contact tape on sensor did not stick causing sensor not to be against surface
I am using this unit by my hot water heater. I checked it a week after installing it and found the sensor became unstuck from the floor I ended up using a brick on top of the sensor to hold it against the floor. Looks like there might be a better one on line that does not depend on sticky tape..

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by viperdriver good price, how does it work?
Instructions are unintelligible; written by someone who does not know english and then translated by someone who told his boss he knows english.
Arming the unit...HOW?
Unit becomes dis-armed...HOW?
