Will this system work for a landing height of 80 inches and make a 90 degree turn at the top or do you offer another model with fewer treads

You can build the standard kit and omit a tread as needed to accomplish your height - you can put a turn at the top or bottom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice solution to a tight problem We have a small house, and the space available for basement access is very confined (63" long, 24" wide). Prior to these stairs, we had a ladder for access, since there was no way to build a conventional staircase or spiral stairs. We were going to build a set of alternating tread stairs when we found this. The stairs arrive strapped to a largish skid, approx. 40x40". It is not light - 200+ pounds. After opening it up and inventorying parts (kit includes allen wrenches and a bag of spare fasteners, beyond what's needed), I was pleased with the quality of the components. Metal parts are sturdy, heavy-gauge steel. Welds are neat with good penetration. Paint is even and neat. Stair treads are laminated hardwood (beech or birch), well-sanded and finished. Overall, quality is high and parts consistent. Instructions are a little on the vague side, but if you read them carefully a few times it makes sense. The metal sections telescope into one another, and are secured by five setscrews that dog them in place. There is enough clearance between the sections so that each tread can be leveled and trued using the setscrews. It's best to level and align each section as you work your way down. The stair treads are unmarked and have to be individually marked and drilled. It goes quick if you make a template from your first tread. Railings are easy to install, require some trimming with a hacksaw. Anchored the bottom bracket into the concrete floors with wedge anchors set into epoxy, instead of the supplied plastic concrete anchors. I didn't want it to move. Ever. I spent about 6 hours on the job, from framing out the attachment point for the top support to installing the railings. It takes some getting used to (make sure to figure out which is your dominant stair-descending foot and install treads accordingly), but is feels very sturdy and safe. The treads are very smooth, and would benefit from some non-skid tape on the surface. Overall very pleased with the stairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality item Normally I don't do reviews unless a product is really good or really bad. The Graz stairs are better than I thought. The instructions were doable, not as bad as many where the author has English as a second language. I was impressed over and over. Any mistakes made were mine, as this was my first install of this product. One thing to keep in mind is to do your leveling carefully as you install each new piece from the top down. I had to backtrack to accomplish this. The paint job on all metal parts is very good. The packaging was good too. If you are handy, have need for a item like this, and want a quality finished product at a very reasonable cost, I would recommend the Graz stair kit. There were other similar products at twice the cost or more. Could the quality be twice as much? I doubt it. I had such a good time putting this together and enjoying the final product that I would happily install another one right away if needed, without even putting the tools away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stairs, Not for the novice to install I am a very handy guy. Being a kit, I had expected that these stairs would be a little easier to install. I eventually got them in but it is quite a lot of work. It is not "Lego". Make sure you put supports in at the appropriate places as suggested. You will have to calculate exactly the correct length in order to get your stairs in straight.. The instructions leave you to figure this out. For my taste the, fittings are too loose and depend too much on the set screws to level and secure the stairs. i can see that this will be a maintenance item, i.e. tightening the stair set screws regularly, a bit of a pain. Some of the rails were not bent square and required some muscle, to straighten out.. Couldn't see that they were crooked until they were installed, then taken apart and re-installed. I feel like I installed this staircase three times before I was finally finished. Again, i am a handy guy, built many stairs from scratch, this one was a lot of work. It took me from breakfast to bedtime to get this in. When finally done it looks great and fits well into the space it was supposed to go. No other style staircase would have addressed my problem so the fuss was worth it..
