Answer:
600 gallons according to the Doulton website. Of course this would depend on the quality of water being run through it. But the nice thing about a ceramic filter is that it can be washed and reused. Up to 60 times supposedly.

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best in show I've used Doulton undercounter water filters for years. Not only do they filter EVERYTHING, their QT model is easy to install and relatively easy to clean and change. They are low in cost, high in efficiency, small in size compared to what they do, and provide safe, clean, fresh-tasting water where needed. May 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by These ceramic filters did not work better than a .5 micron activated carbon filter It is true that these ceramic filters did not work better than a .5 micron activated carbon filter. If tests were done to help prove they are better than the activated carbon filters I would like to see those tests performed and view the actual results. Using a Doulton Ceramic Ultracarb filter did not make anything better than using the 1/2 micron carbon filter at our home. It would be nice if Home Depot made the housing units available at the same time the filters are available. More filter companies need to include several different filter housings that a customer is able to readily hook up. Some customers see the value in adding an additional water filter to the 1/4" water line that goes to the refrigerator or other water lines in their home. The 1/4" inlet/outlet filter housings that hold assorted sizes of filters would be a great item for stores to make available to the customers. These type of housings don't have to cost over $25. I had to reach out to another company to get a housing that is suitable for this type of filter and for the open ended type filter, too. Other customers may want to be aware of the fact that there are good solid filter housings available that don't cost over $25 and they can come with the 1/4" inlet/outlet. Other sizes are also available. All drinking water filters and housings should be made with the option to have assorted sizes of inlet/outlets on the housing. December 19, 2015
