Great way to open up and update a bathroom. Love the way the door swings open for access to clean the tub/shower, or turn on water...bath small children etc. Surprisingly very little water escapes the tub/shower. No more than when using a shower curtain. Just make sure the rubber fitting along tub and wall are fit snuggly to tub and wall.

Installed easily and looks great. It is quite a heavy door, so probably needs two people to install.

We purchased this door because my wife liked the openness of the design. She likes to look outside our house when she showers. (We live in the hills outside of Austin. Everything is downhill from our house and provides total privacy.) The installation was not terribly difficult even though the door is heavy. My biggest problem was the anchors provided had no flange to hold them in place while trying to screw the door down. We had to take an hour out of the instillation to go to town and find some better anchors. Other than that the installation would have taken us about 20 minutes total. Everything else was of a very high quality and we are very pleased with it. Everyone who see's it loves the way it looks and it does the job of containing the water well when everything is properly adjusted.

Door looks well installed. Glass is only 5/16" and not too heavy to handle. Put the grab bar on before installing helps handle and balance door. Used 1/2" and a 1/8" stock stacked to create material to hold up the door the required 5/8" up from tub top when installing. Make sure of your glass placement on tub also. My Swanstone tub has a gentle curve out on the front apron. You'll need to mark tub as well as wall for proper glass alignments side and bottom. Drilling my porcelain tile and glass mosaic was the longest part. Use the right ceramic bit (bosche) and rock bit orbital as you drill and mist with some water as you go. Cheap spray bottle. Put tape on the tiles to mark hinge holes on and to keep bit from skidding when starting. There is a small amount of adjustment to correction if not exact plumb wall or level tub. The wall was off 3/16"+/- from original framing. Thought I had compensated when finishing tile job. Still worked out well.
