It looks like this will require some hardware drilled to the shower pan but I'm not sure? Wondering if it matters that my shower pan is Cast Iron?

I attached the lower metal guide to my iron Kohler Villager tub using gray epoxy putty I got at Harbor Freight tools. Holds securely, fills gaps and doesn't run like liquid epoxy.

We are ordering the 56-60 in. bypass door. What is the shower system in the Enigma ad? We want one just like that.

Unfortunately, the plumbing fixtures in the photos are actually graphic representations of plumbing fixtures. There is no actual brand name that I can provide. I am sure that if you take the photo in to your local Home Depot, they will have something very similar that they can offer you. DreamLine Hydrotherapy Shower Panels are available through the Home Depot and would be a stunning addition. You can place "DreamLine Hydrotherapy Shower Panel" in the Home Depot search field and they will come up for you! If you have any other questions, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866-731-2244 or via email at support@dreamline.com. We are available 8am-7pmEST, Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm EST. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

Can doors be installed close enough to the floor of the shower that water does not escape beneah the doors?

My shower is built like most handicapped showers. The tile floor is level with the rest of the room except for the drain to the center. Will the shower doors fit close enough to the floor not to allow water to run out from under and onto rest of bathroom floor?
Asked by: WagnerWare
No. The metal guide at the bottom must have the door high enough to clear the guide. The bottom of the sliding door is about 1/4" above the threshold. If it's lower, it will rub on the metal guide and hang the door up.

Example: How do I get the doors to shut?

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.
Asked by: johnpik
Are the doors gliding by themselves and refusing to stay closed? If so, it's because the main bar is not level. My doors were automatically opening because one end of the bar was too high by about 1/4". I removed the sliding door and loosened all the hardware (stationary door too) then adjusted the bar until the sliding door behaved itself. It now actually closes itself because I adjusted the bar so the door slides "downhill." The door's weight also causes the bar to sag a bit in the middle, creating an arc that the door will settle in. By adjusting the bar's closed end lower, the door now closes itself and stays closed.

Enigma-X 56 in. to 60 in. x 76 in. Frameless Sliding Shower Door in Brushed Stainless Steel is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 136.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Door I shopped around for a beautiful glass door for our guest bathroom remodel. I did find the Enigma-X on sale and just couldn't pass this up. Installation wasn't too hard. Just remember to install the door stops on the bar when you put it in. We had to go back because we didn't see the step for this. Learn and move on I guess...The ability to have full adjustments for fitment is nice to have. Also the ClearMax Coating is nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy, rich look I had professionals install this, and they said it took effort: the glass is really heavy, and any bathroom is small space. Other than that, the end result is a classy looking bathroom with shower doors that look like twice what they actually cost. I actually had it costed out for a custom-made similar door, and the quote was twice this price of this at HD. So great buy, great value!

We did a complete remodel of this shower and purchased everything from Home Depot! The door is a heavy glass and slides with ease on the beautiful brushed nickel hardware! I absolutely love it and it just added to the beauty of our new bathroom!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't work The shower door may be nice but it would not work for our shower as it calls for 2 3/4 inches of a flat surface at the threshold and our shower pan only had 2 inches, so we will be returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and very heavy The shower must be almost perfect as far as square and level. The glass is perfectly square. Takes two people to install and patience. Well worth the time taken to install
