It looks like this will require some hardware drilled to the shower pan but I'm not sure? Wondering if it matters that my shower pan is Cast Iron?
Asked by: mom
There's a guide block at the bottom that both glass panels run through. This would be located on the shower curb, not the pan itself. Pre-drill a hole, fill with silicone sealant as well as silicone on the bottom of the block. Screw in. A lot of shower doors require you to drill into the curb. You just need to take the standard waterproofing precautions.

Multiple questions: Please help

The opening width of my shower space is 55.25" on the bottom and 55.5" on the top. Will your door have the required .25" adjustment to make up the difference? I see the minimum suggested width is 56". Does this mean that the opening to enter and exit the shower in my case would simply be approximately 1-inch less, which would be acceptable to me. Also, when looking into my shower stall, the showerhead is on the right wall, but it appears the sliding door is also on the right side, in front of my toilet. I understand that it is reversible and that I may put the fixed panel on the right side, with the sliding door on the left side. But since the water will be coming from the right side, will this post a potential leakage problem? If so, may I correct the problem by installing the fixed panel on the inside right wall where my showerhead is and the sliding door on the outside instead, opening from left to right?

Yes You can. I put my affixed panel next to my sink and the shower head in on the same side. Does not pose any issues. Actually nice that you reach in turn on the shower. Perfecto! The door has stoppers to adjust the opening. Unfortunately walls are very seldom plum. Don't worry you wont get water on the floor.

We are ordering the 56-60 in. bypass door. What is the shower system in the Enigma ad? We want one just like that.

Unfortunately, the plumbing fixtures in the photos are actually graphic representations of plumbing fixtures. There is no actual brand name that I can provide. I am sure that if you take the photo in to your local Home Depot, they will have something very similar that they can offer you. DreamLine Hydrotherapy Shower Panels are available through the Home Depot and would be a stunning addition. You can place "DreamLine Hydrotherapy Shower Panel" in the Home Depot search field and they will come up for you! If you have any other questions, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866-731-2244 or via email at support@dreamline.com. We are available 8am-7pmEST, Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm EST. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

Can doors be installed close enough to the floor of the shower that water does not escape beneah the doors?

My shower is built like most handicapped showers. The tile floor is level with the rest of the room except for the drain to the center. Will the shower doors fit close enough to the floor not to allow water to run out from under and onto rest of bathroom floor?
Asked by: WagnerWare
No. The metal guide at the bottom must have the door high enough to clear the guide. The bottom of the sliding door is about 1/4" above the threshold. If it's lower, it will rub on the metal guide and hang the door up.

Enigma-X 60 in. x 76 in. Frameless Sliding Shower Door in Polished Stainless Steel is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 145.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Door I shopped around for a beautiful glass door for our guest bathroom remodel. I did find the Enigma-X on sale and just couldn't pass this up. Installation wasn't too hard. Just remember to install the door stops on the bar when you put it in. We had to go back because we didn't see the step for this. Learn and move on I guess...The ability to have full adjustments for fitment is nice to have. Also the ClearMax Coating is nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy, rich look I had professionals install this, and they said it took effort: the glass is really heavy, and any bathroom is small space. Other than that, the end result is a classy looking bathroom with shower doors that look like twice what they actually cost. I actually had it costed out for a custom-made similar door, and the quote was twice this price of this at HD. So great buy, great value!

Very classy and the actual doors are very heavy duty (each weighs at least 90 lbs). Slides perfectly and effortlessly. Couldn't be more pleased , exceeds my expectations. Makes the whole bathroom look upscale. Only one issue per my contractor who performed the installation. Instructions were difficult to understand. Between two seasoned construction men they had a really difficult time with the installation instructions. Took them a whole day. I purchased the polished chrome and is beautiful. This door MAKES the bathroom.

Very classy looking...and very strong...not wobbly like most shower doors. Installer was excellent. New this product well and did a great job installing it. Very pleased. This is a small room and now it feels so much bigger with the doors as opposed to the old shower curtain that kept blowing in on us!
