The door is completely reversible for either a right hand or left hand opening, but the moving panel must be installed on the inside in either application. If you install the stationary panel on the shower head side, be aware that you will have the overlap facing toward the shower head water stream and may experience leaking at that point. There are vinyl strips that are installed to the panels of glass along the overlap that will help to prevent that. You may want to look at one of our bypass models such as the Duet or Encore. These doors will allow both panels to move so you can place the panels in position so that the overlap is not exposed directly to the stream of water. You can place "DreamLine Duet" or "DreamLine Encore" in the search field and those doors will come up for you. Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DreamLine Infinity-Z 32 X 60 install I installed this product as a knowledgeable individual who does nearly all of his own home improvements. This shower was bought to replace an existing 60 inch tub. I did hire a pro to set the shower bottom tray since it required a relocation of the existing drain and setting the tray in mortar. I was not comfortable with this procedure since it would be very difficult to fix if I did it wrong. All the rest I did on my own. The quality of the shower components is really over the top. Everything was well marked so easy to identify. And all the parts fit together just right. The only part I would like to see improved is the supplied wall anchors. They have no flange to keep them from being pushed into the wall cavity and in 1/2 inch drywall, they did not hold well when the screws were driven. Installation had some problems when I followed the instructions. Possibly since I was working by myself. The instructions were very explicit in the measuring and cutting of the panels. I did the panel cuts on my table saw. I tried with a utility knife like the instructions indicated but that just didn't work. The measuring and cutting of the door frame was right on. In fact I should have given myself 1/2" of slack since the fit ended up being perfect. And that is where the next problem arises. There are two things I would do differently if I were to do this again. I would wait to put the fixed glass panel into the frame until after the frame was fixed in place. The glass panel makes the whole thing very heavy and hard to handle. The second thing is that the instructions say to apply silicon sealant to the shower wall and pan where the frame will mate to it. In my struggles with the heavy frame & glass assembly, I ended up spreading silicon sealant all over the place. A major post assembly cleanup. Maybe if the glass had not been in place it would have gone better. The way the fixed glass goes into the frame, there is no reason it could not be installed after the frame is set. The rest of the install went well except for the anchors again when I installed the glass shelves. I had to go buy better anchors to get the job done. August 29, 2016
