This looks like a beautiful door but the walk-in is quite narrow. Has that been problematic for anyone? 15to19 inches?

Jen, We do not have the stationary panel/moving panel slider sized for a larger walk through opening. You may want to consider a bypass door, such as the Duet or the Encore. They offer larger walk through openings in the 48" size, but both panels move. The Duet model number is SHDR-1248728-04 and the Encore model number is SHDR-1648760-01. You can place those numbers in the search field and they will Read More

How much of a gap is there between the two glass panels?

My shower head is on the right side of the shower, and the sliding shower door will have to be installed on the left side. Since the sliding door is on the inside track and the stationary glass panel is on the outside track, there will be a gap between them that faces the shower head. I'm concerned that the shower head will spray water directly in the gap between the two glass panels. Is there any way to prevent this?

Answer:
Akula, there is a 3/4" gap between the panels, but each panel has a vinyl anti water strip that helps to prevent water from leaking. These strips have a flange and they overlap each other and will help significantly to block water. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866-731-2244. We are available 8am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday to Read More

Sliding panel on left, but in front?

In my shower, the shower head is on the right wall, and the shower door must be on the left. In the photos it looks like the sliding glass panel (i.e., the door) is on the inner track of the shower. Therefore, the water from the shower head will shoot straight through the opening between the sliding and stationary panels.
Is it possible to switch tracks so that the stationary panel is on the inner track, and then flip the stationary panel so that the towel rack is on the inside? That way, the sliding panel (door) can still stay on the left but be on the outside track, so it will slide past the stationary panel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Infinity shower door Very well built and easy to install. Very sturdy and well designed. February 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks more expensive than they are. We shopped around and looked at many different clear doors. For the price, these were hands down the winner for our bathroom remodel. They have a nice heavy feel when they close and were easy (for two people) to install. January 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good presentation but easy to leak if applied at the top of an enclosure I was installing this over the top of an existing enclosure as such due to the flexibility of the material on the enclosure it was very difficult to stop a small leak since a little bouncing of the material would force very small quantity of water out. In addition the moving door is meant to install at the wall were the shower head is. If one want to install it at the other end it will leak in between the doors since the moving door is always installed as the back door. July 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Challenging Assembley This shower door assembly is a high quality piece, that once installed, looks and operates great. However I wouldn't recommend that a novice try to install it. July 26, 2016
