Answer:
The actual panels of glass are frameless. There is framing, however, around the perimeter which gives you the ability to adjust for out of plumb conditions and which the rollers glide through. If you have any other questions, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866-731-2244 or via email at support@dreamline.com. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DreamLine Shower Door Simply it's so nice looking ! Great product. I will definitely recommend it to my friends!! October 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice We love it...turned out nice and not hard to put together. Definitely recommend for your shower remodel. September 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What a costly mistake This door is of poor quality and we had to trash it and buy a Kohler, which was actually less expensive but made with much better quality. There are three problems with this door, not including the crazy installation instructions which others have already commented on so I'll leave that alone. Problems are: 1. The screws are on the inside of the shower, instead of being in the middle of the frame like most shower doors. This leaves the holes exposed to water from the shower. 2. The screws do not have covers like most shower door screws. This also leaves them exposed to water. 3. there is no cover on the back side of the wheel tracks, so the wheel tracks are exposed. Most shower doors have covers so that dirt can not collect by the wheels inside of this tract. My installer is a builder and when he started assembling the door said he had never seen one like this in 30 years. He said he would not put it in his home and explained all the problems. We had to trash it and bought a Kohler door for less. The Kohler is as beautiful and functional on the inside as the outside. Here you only see pictures of the outside of the wheel track which is covered, very misleading. The frame on the inside is not covered and would be near impossible to clean. Well, maybe with a toothbrush it could be cleaned. So if you are considering two doors, buy the other one! I would not buy a Dreamline product in the future. The manufacturer/Dreamline informed me over the phone they knew about the exposed screws and had heard the complaint before. But why they still sell this door, I don't understand. It was a lot of unnecessary aggravation. I would have done much better going with a reputable manufacturer like Kohler from the beginning and saved a bundle of money too. April 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good shower door assembly Good looking product but installation directions need to be better. August 31, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great but the glass doors are so heavy the top bar bows. First - Ordered this in brushed nickel and only after the 200lb box made it to the 2nd floor was it discovered that it arrived in polished chrome. Second - it is a challenge to install. Give yourself twice the amount of time to get it right as you only have one chance to get the bar length correct with this one. Third - the small metal water threshold you add at the end is not enough to keep the splash contained. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Elegant and Modern Easy to install and an excellent product. Doors are well made and add a real sense of elegance to our new bathroom. Great value and of comparable quality to more costlier doors we had considered. December 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice look with little effort to make it shine, easy maintenance glass. Love it August 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful sliding glass door We just did a bathroom remodel, and the door was the final touch. I was a bit nervous to buy the door 'sight unseen', but I'm so glad that we did. We picked this because we liked the frameless look, but needed 'out of plumb' flexibility, wanted a space saving slider and good hardware for smooth sliding. The price was right on sale, and even with paying for installation, it ended up being ~$500 cheaper than a door we were looking at from a glass specialist - and I believe higher quality. The door is beautiful, slides well and feels very well made. You can't see it in the photo, but having the handle on the slider on both inside and out is great, and there are stoppers on the track that keep the door from banging (or pinching fingers) when opening and closing it. The only headache was the HD installer. It took weeks to get them to come measure, then another week to schedule then another week before they could come out... They did good work in the end, but it was painful to give them our business. August 18, 2015
