Answer:
I provided and installed this for a customer of mine, not in my own home. I do not have access to go and measure for you at this time. If I remember the bar is somewhere around 27"-30" long. The shower that it was installed in was a 48" long and it is mounted on a diagonal from the short panel back to the wall. If you contact the manufacturer, they should be able to give you an exact measure

Answer:
being that the wall is that far out of plumb, i would either recommend a custom glass panel that would be cut to accommodate the out of plumb, or either a nice curtain. any doors that are on rails majority of the time wouldn't be able to be racked that far to seal properly

Answer:
The Mirage requires that your walls be plumb and your base be level. The Mirage is a frame-less door and has no ability to be adjusted for out of plumb conditions. We would recommend that you call in to the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866-731-2244 or contact us via email at support@bathauthority.com. We will be happy to discuss your installation and evaluate it. Thank you for choosing DreamLine.

Bev, the Mirage can be installed to tiled, finished walls and does not need studs behind the walls for installation. Please keep in mind that the Mirage is frameless and your walls must be plumb and the base level to be installed properly. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice I love this door, but it was not a cinch to put up, in fact I had to hire someone to do it. Also the one thing I don't like is it has a bar that goes from the door to the wall to hold it up. This is not a problem for me but could be for a tall person. I would not get this door if you are taller or as tall as the door. You can see it in my picture. I didn't see the bar in other pictures so was not aware of it until installed so just be aware. Otherwise love it. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy customer Easy to install an fit very well in my remodel basement's bathroom. I will recommend this product, very good quality and good price November 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dreamline Mirage frameless shower door The installation guidelines were very well put together, however some of the parts were in different boxes, and took a little longer to find. Definitely need 2 people to put together March 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mirgae 44 in. frameless door The door is sturdy and well made. It is as elegant looking as I hoped it would be. My builder said that the instructions were a little lacking in places, but he did figure it out with little problem. June 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my shower! This door gives my bathroom the elegance I was looking for at a reasonable price! I removed the old slider before my renovation because the tracks were hard to clean so I love this frameless style and this door allows the view of my new renovation. October 7, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by High end look and quality Easy to install. You will need a second person for lifting. My order was missing a couple gaskets. The company shipped the entire assy within a couple days. January 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Support bar deal breaker? I didn't notice the support bar in the picture until it was too late. I had already order the door and was on its way. I mean the price iwas great don't get me wrong, just dislike the bar but too late it's installed. Beautiful though if you can handle the little eye soar. March 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really looks great We tiled our shower and wanted a door that would not block all of the great looking tile - So, this was a perfect choice. We used Home Depot Installation services, and unless you are REALLY handy I recommend it! The directions are very specific, and my thought was this glass door is really heavy - I would hate to drop it or mess up the installation by missing a step. The installers did a great job and it came out beautifully. This door is a high end appearance with more of a mid range pricetag. Definately worth it. August 19, 2014
