Answer:
The Mirage requires that your walls be plumb and your base be level. The Mirage is a frame-less door and has no ability to be adjusted for out of plumb conditions. We would recommend that you call in to the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866-731-2244 or contact us via email at support@bathauthority.com. We will be happy to discuss your installation and evaluate it. Thank you for choosing DreamLine.

Does the Support Bar need to be 15" from the glass

This question is from Mirage 44 to 48 in. x 72 in. Semi-Framed Sliding Shower Door in Chrome

I measured where the fixed panel would be and if I go 15" out i'll be right in line with the shower head. I'm unable to reverse the slider in my setup. Can i raise the support bar to be out of line with the top of the fixed panel, meaning it would not be parallel. This would allow me to mount the support above the shower head. Another option would be to adjust the support a few inches closer to the fixed panel if possible. Please advise.

Bev, the Mirage can be installed to tiled, finished walls and does not need studs behind the walls for installation. Please keep in mind that the Mirage is frameless and your walls must be plumb and the base level to be installed properly. Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent product but watch out for the support. Looks great but the pic doesn't make clear that there is a support bar that goes across the top & has to be affixed to the tile - really disturbs the aesthetics of the door. March 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice I love this door, but it was not a cinch to put up, in fact I had to hire someone to do it. Also the one thing I don't like is it has a bar that goes from the door to the wall to hold it up. This is not a problem for me but could be for a tall person. I would not get this door if you are taller or as tall as the door. You can see it in my picture. I didn't see the bar in other pictures so was not aware of it until installed so just be aware. Otherwise love it. August 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I prefer doors that open and close. Nice materials overall and decent design, but the casters appear flimsy and (sure enough) failed after a couple of weeks. Emails and voicemail to the support number remain unanswered and the door is no longer functional. June 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy customer Easy to install an fit very well in my remodel basement's bathroom. I will recommend this product, very good quality and good price November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product. Very nice shower doors. Instructions were easy to follow and all of the parts were labeled clearly. All hardware fit nicely and made well. Overall I was very satisfied! January 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dreamline Mirage frameless shower door The installation guidelines were very well put together, however some of the parts were in different boxes, and took a little longer to find. Definitely need 2 people to put together March 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mirgae 44 in. frameless door The door is sturdy and well made. It is as elegant looking as I hoped it would be. My builder said that the instructions were a little lacking in places, but he did figure it out with little problem. June 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my shower! This door gives my bathroom the elegance I was looking for at a reasonable price! I removed the old slider before my renovation because the tracks were hard to clean so I love this frameless style and this door allows the view of my new renovation. October 7, 2014
