We're preparing for installation this week by studying our manual, but it doesn't seem clear on this: Do the high support bars have to attach to studs in our bathroom walls, or do they attach to the acrylic back wall panels of the shower itself? (We have Dreamline's acrylic walls model DL-6185-01.) With such heavy glass, we're concerned that it have the proper support. Any help greatly appreciated, thank you!

I plan to write a review after all is done, and it's extremely likely to be from one very happy customer. Thanks again. Read Less

Scout, the support bars do not have to go into studs, just finished walls which in your case will be the acrylic walls and the backer board behind them. Rest assured that the Prism-X panels are supported by the wall profile/glass profile pieces and a bracket on the threshold in addition to the support arms. It makes for a very secure installation.
