I wanted a frameless shower door for a small shower space as part of our remodel. After much looking and reading of reviews, I settled on this one. I was relying on our contractor for the installation and downloaded the instructions prior to purchase. While he hadn't any experience with this type of door, he didn't have any reservations. The price came down twice while I was deciding, so I couldn't have been happier. The order was made and delivery happened as scheduled and without a hitch. All the pieces were packed in a heavy duty wooden frame; all in good shape. It's a heavy door, so there has to be sufficient support, and he also installed the brace. The contractor did a great job on the installation and I think had only moderate difficulty due to the weight and balancing, but he had help. It's beautiful and everything I could have hoped for. I purchased Durashield for easier upkeep, which has worked really well. Great purchase.

This is a solid well constructed door. Looks good. Our door arrived with the wrong instructions. I called the DreamLine support and it was immediately answered by a human being that and the correct instructions were sent quickly to our website. Friendly and very accommodating. I liked that. We had our plumber install the door. He closely followed the instructions and it took him 3 hours (he's very careful), but he said if he installed another one he said it would take 1 1/2 hours.

I thought I had no choice but to have a custom shower door made if I wanted to go frameless. Quotes for a custom door were $1500! After some research I found this door for less than half the price and the only difference I could tell between the custom door and this one was the little "u channel" that holds the stationary panel in was slightly bigger than the ones I saw on custom doors. There is a bracket that holds the stationary panel in place (attaches to wall and top of panel), but I didn't even install it because the door was solid. I suppose you might need it on a wider opening.
Install was not as smooth as I would have liked. You definately need to have your door anchored into the wood framing. If you are gutting a shower (like I did), you can plan ahead. The instructions say to set the door on a 5/8" piece of wood that is sitting on top of your shower curb. I did this thinking i could adjust the door up and down slightly and ended up with a big gap under the door because my curb was not 100% level. I basically had to re-install the entire door to lower it. It would have been nice if the instructions explained this a little better than "set your door on a 5/8" piece of wood".
The other problem with the install was that the hinges got scratched up from my drill. I called the company and they sent me new hinges (free) right away and were really great to work with. I installed the new hinges using a bit extension and they look great and are scratch free.
Overall, this is a great shower door. We have been using it for over a month now and there is no leaking and really adds to the look of our master bathroom. I still kept the rating at 5 stars despite some of the install issues because I probably could have avoided all the issues by taking a little more time. While this door is more expensive than a lot of the framed doors, it is a great value compared to a custom frameless/

WE orginally ordered the wrong finish for the door. Caught it about two hours after ordering on line and then called Home Depot...took 45 min to wait to get to to assistant. She could not cancel immediately and then reorder...had to call the company manually to make it happen.
Now the best part....while cumbersome...it all worked just as advertised, the Home Depot staff (exceptional work by the lady whose name I now have forgotten) in Utah worked the issue just like they said, took them two days to clear it up, re-ordered the new door and it arrived safely about 5 days ago.
I'll be honest...did not expect this type of personalized service and am grateful for their follow though to make this purchase happen

This product is sturdy and well made, therefore it is heavy and requires twice as much prep work reinforcing the wall as actually installing. (Builders don't put studs far enough in, or flush to support door) Measurements, angles and leveling are key. We liked the look enough to put in a second door in the second bath. On average working mostly alone, it takes about 2 days, 10-12 hours to install, which includes cutting drywall, stud work, install, patch drywall, paint, caulk and clean.
