The glass panels are very heavy. This is a job for two. This is not a install for a novice. The hinges must be accurately installed an the walls must be plumb. The main problem I had was drilling through the tile I installed, but with the help of a diamond tipped bid I got the job done.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MagnoliaGirl One of the pieces of glass was bent, not plumb
Had licensed plumber install, far sides of glass were plumb/even but the door and stationary glass did not meet in the middle evenly. It appears that one of the sheets of glass is "off". Install instructions were illogical. Why would you install the movable/flexible door first, then try to match up the stationary, fixed panel to it? Wouldn't you start with the more stationary glass panel first? Then the door, where you can make some adjustments? It has been a nightmare installing this thing.

This is a modern, great-looking, all glass shower door. Installation was pretty easy and took about a day to complete. The panels are each beefy and solid, but not to the point that you can't do the install yourself.

The shower doors are beautiful and just what we wanted! A little hard to put up but that's to be expected!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by steve Product Overview Misleading
I went to my favorite store, The Home Depot, to purchase a shower enclosure. I didn't find anything I liked from the in-stock choices. The sales associate suggested searching Home Depot Online.I was immediately drawn to this shower door during the search. The price was more than I wanted to pay but this was the style I was looking for. While reading the product overview I was pleased to see:
• Designed to be installed against finished walls (not directly to studs)
I'm not a contractor so I went back to the store and I asked the associate if this meant studs weren't required to be in the wall and was told I was correct, so I ordered the unit. After getting it home I verified all parts were there. My installers informed me that the instruction manual says "the manufacturer strongly recommends to attach this heavy door to the studs". There are no studs directly behind the tile where the door hinges are to be located that's why I asked the associate if the statement in the product overview meant what I thought it did. I went back to the store and was told this was an issue with the online department and to call them, so I did. The representative agreed with me that the statement appeared to mean no studs were required for the installation and he would need approval from his supervisor to issue a $150 credit to compensate for the additional cost incurred to have the proper supports installed. He came back and said the product overview does state studs are required in the 2nd paragraph above. That paragraph is a note describing requirements for the optional Dreamline Streamline Shower Base which I didn't order. My base was a custom poured base for a zero threshold transition to the bathroom floor and the only thing they could offer was for me to return the door and order something else. When I said I didn't want to return it, he said "since you want to keep the door you're saying you will be responsible for the cost of installing proper supports and there's nothing more he can offer"... then asked is there anything else he can do for me?? I laughed and said "not if there's nothing else you can do for me"!!!
I just felt like The Home Depot should have offered something towards the additional costs incurred since I made four 33 mile round trips to their store regarding this purchase and one of those trips was specifically to verify no studs required for installing this $1016 shower door. Since February I've spent over $3700 on materials for this bathroom remodel, they won't get the money I'm spending on my kitchen remodel which I'm starting next month $15k plus. I know it's only $150 but it's the principle of the matter!!!, My decision for this review is lack of employee product knowledge, admitted confusing/misleading descriptions and no integrity on their behalf!!!
I will say though, the door is a beautiful addition to the bathroom remodel and I recommend it if you have the proper supports needed!!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIYSuburbanFarmer Easy to Install Yourself
This is a high quality, easy-to-install and attractive shower door. My husband and I did it together (definitely a two-person job) without too much head-scratching or cursing. It's easy to adjust to fit your shower opening perfectly. We installed into porcelain tile with a fair amount of ease. Make sure you YouTube how to drill into tile first. It helped us a ton.

Prompt delivery. Good customer service from Bath Authority. Installer said directions were vague.
The door and enclosure looks great once installation complete, except for... We ordered the chrome version, but the fixed wall panel apparently is not shiny chrome. The actual is somewhere between brushed nickel and chrome. Customer service said all finishes should be the same, they promptly sent us 2 different shipments of fixed wall pieces, both the same finish as original. Then customer service sent pictures (6) all had the same finish. At this point, we could uninstall door, fill drilled holes in wall, return door and start search over. We decided to live with two different finishes, I checked into having that pieced chromed too $$ after cost of door and having installer out three times.
