I had a contractor install this and it took over 4 hours. You need to drill into tile so make sure you know what you're doing. It was worth it though because they look fantastic! You can also adjust the opening so it doesn't swing and hit the wall. You do have to seal one of the doors with Silicone and if you don't then the water can leak, but otherwise I would recommend this for the price. You'll get a beautiful rich look for a great value.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GrizzlyBear Excellent Quality and a Great Value
This unit is of Excellent Quality and a Great Value at the Home Depot price. This Dream LIne Frameless Shower Door will bring Luxury to your bath at an affordable cost. Installation is not for the faint of heart. As the product description states, there is NO out-of- plumb adjustment. The walls need to be flat, plumb and square to the floor and that is hard to find construction or building materials that meet that standard in today's world. If you do the work yourself and take the time to get it right, this is a doable project. The results are worth the perfection and time needed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grillboy Great framless shower door
Very bueatiful shower door. The framless design allows almost no out of plumb clearance. When building your shower door opening you must be plumb and exact in width to your new door width- a 58" door takes exactly 58" opening. This is of course what gives a framless door its beauty, but it is also what makes it difficult to install, BE ACCURATE.

The product is very high quality, and we are very pleased with the finished installation and product. The installation instructions were clear, and I would consider the level of difficulty as average, as long as you have some carpentry experience, or experience with several do-it-yourself projects, as you need to be good at layout (leveling, plumbing, squaring), shimming, and drilling into ceramic tile. Our shower door unit included the fixed glass panel. Our finished opening was very level and plumb, so we could use the unit that has no "out of plumb or level" adjustment. The only adjustment I needed was to behind the bottom door hinge, to level the door with the fixed panel at the top. The unit comes with some clear shim material for this purpose. The company offers an adjustable product for finished openings that are out of level and plumb, so check your opening before you order.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Richard Tough install but substantial savings.
Challenging first install. No help from manufacturer. Everything must be plumb and square. Nice finished product. Same glass and hardware as the professional companies will install for 2 to 3 times the money.
