After one circular hole cut the bit became dull and n the second cut performed poorly and much smoke from the heat was raised. i had tried cleaning the bit in alcohol just to ensure no sap or residue was on it. Second Dremel bit that has performed this way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lexan or Lucite projects on your bucket list? I'm all the time tinkering and modifying my gold prospecting hobby equipment. Love using Lucite for my builds. This bit is the ONLY way to cut lucite and have it not shatter. Buy more than one, because you'll always be misplacing this bit if you only have one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite the answer Dremel recommended this for cutting drywall openings for switch boxes and outlets. It was very difficult to control. I finally gave up and went back to my little drywall hand saw. I guess if I was a pro, I would get the hang of it after a few days and probably save a lot of time, but I would not recommend it for the occasional do-it-yourselfer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from reliable tool Though this was just a bit to go alone with the drill I had previously purchased at HD. I had my son cleaning the grout between the tiles of out kitchen counter. I worked fabulously!
