It does well on the first few cuts but is fast to dull and burn- I even tried using water with a drip line and the next bit I used a cutting oil. Water works better but still overpriced for the few cuts you get out of it

I used this bit for a shower grout removal project I was working on. It worked just as good as the grout bits I had purchased, although better suited for grout lines that have large gaps.

The bit cut travertine well but was useless on ceramic tile. Don't even try it.

The guy at the store really talked this bit up, bought it and tried it for backsplash and it would not cut at all, just cracked the tiles if it did anything at all. I cannot recommend this product for doing a backsplash.

I needed to cut small notches in backsplash tile for wall plate screws. It kind of worked for the first couple, although it was very slow. Then it was obvious the bit was getting dull fast and it wouldn't cut at all.

Floor tile: worthless
Wall tile: okay
The bit is okay for thin wall tile. I've used it with decent satisfaction. But it is USELESS for floor tile. It'll make a tiny groove before it glows red and stops cutting.
