CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome little bit I was making some mounting brackets out of 1/4 steel, and my bolt holes were a little out of alignment. I didn't want to drill up as they weren't that far off, so I decided to try this little beauty. I was able to stretch the holes for a perfect fit. I was amazed how well this thing cut through 1/4 steel, like a hot knife through butter. The only down side is that it generated hundreds if not thousands of little metal slivers or splinters from cutting. I ended up pulling about a half dozen out of my hands because I was to hard headed to get some gloves. So if your cutting fairly thick metal, you may want to make sure you wear gloves and a long sleeve shirt to protect yourself from the material. As always, wear eye protection. December 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't cut tile Bought this bit so that I could notch out a small "U" shape on some grade 5 floor tile. It wouldn't cut at all. It kind of just gnawed at the tile and probably would have taken me days to actually notch out what I needed to notch out. It will probably cut something weaker, but definitely does not work on tile. Rated 5 out of 5 by Another great Dremmel tool Great for fine use when working with ceramic tile. Would not try to do such intricate work without this. October 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product Stays sharp and cuts through practically anything. I use it mainly on 1/4" thick (or thinner) mild steel and various other metals, and it works great. I've used it both in my rotary tool and in my drill press. Either works, but you still have to be careful not to twist too much or else it will break (it is carbide, after all). May 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tungsten Carbide Cutter The bit was very useful while I did not need to rent a tile cutter. It held up and glided through the ceramic tiles and grout. It is an excellent tool to have in your toolbox. April 15, 2014
