Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A big improvement over brand X I've been using an inexpensive oscillating tool that has several problems- it's noisy, hard to change blades, and the blades loosen during use. I find an oscillating tool very useful but was frustrated with my cheap one, I decided to upgrade to the Dremel. The Dremel is quieter, has variable speed, a captive blade-changing wrench, and magnetic grip to hold the blade in place while tightening. On high speed, it really zips through wood. This kit comes with an MM480 Wood Flush Cut Blade, MM450 Wood and Drywall Blade, MM435 Drywall Jab Saw Blade, MM11 Dremel Hook and Loop Pad, plus 11 assorted grit sandpaper. The power cord is more flexible than most tools making it easier to manage when working and fold to store in the plastic case. The case has posts for storing the blades so they won't slide around. The blade-changing wrench stores securely on the tool body, detaches easily, and is comfortable to use. The manual has a table showing what speeds to use for which tasks using each blade. Note that the manual linked on the product page is for a different Dremel Multi-Max - the MM45. You can find the MM30 manual on the Dremel web site. March 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Handy I bought this tool for a specific task. Removing part of the wall studs in my basement prior to having the basement waterproofed. It did exactly what I wanted and would be worth the price for just that one task. However, since then I have found other things to use it for. December 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice to have This is the type of tool you don’t appreciate until you use. The few things I have enjoyed the most thus far is the ability to cut and sand in tight spaces and the ability to flush cut molding around flooring. As for the tool, it seems solid in the hand and the head/blade change system is easy enough. Do you ‘need’ this tool? Probably not, because you might already have other tools that do one or two of the tasks this one does. Does it make doing certain projects easier? It certainly does and for that reason I’m happy I have one. June 19, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad for home use This is a well made oscillating tool with one con. In my opinion it isn't quite powerful enough. For normal home use I don't think the average user would have any issue with this tool. I have used the Bosch version of this tool as well and it has much more power. One other thing that bugged me was having to remove a nut to change blades. The Bosch tool has a lever that is extended to release the blade. April 9, 2014
