I bought this primarily to do some small polishing on plastic. It wasn't exactly what I needed, but I find that just about every time I go to my shop I use it on something. I've even started sculpting a bear out of a chunk of wood and I've never done that before. My dremel makes it easy!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by VelocityRC Nice Tool But Consider The Next Step Up At Minimum
I have used Dremel rotary products for many years and I have to say I am disappointed with this one. The low speed has very little torque and stalls easily and the high speed is a bit fast for delicate work. If you plan to use a flex attachment the low speed torque is even worse and the high (33,000 RPM) on the high speed will heat up your flex shaft even with minimal bending of the cable on a frequently cleaned and dry lubed cable. Consider another model with more than 2 speeds. On the plus side Dremel has added the ability to consumer replace motor brushes and extend service life of the tool, just don't let the brushes get too short before replacement. A tool for this is also provided and be sure to follow the break in procedure.

May be the most useful tool I own. I have had it for about three years. I use it for cutting bolts, widening openings, sanding, and detail work.

Such a great tool! I was refinishing a coffee table and couldn't remove the paint in the grooves of the legs. Purchasing this product was the answer. It's easy to put together, easy to handle and no problem with having to "recharge" ... the battery is fantastic! I'm so glad I purchased this tool... such great uses!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dale S Cost effective option for thorough grout removal
I purchased a Dremel 200 Series based on a need. I was in the middle of a tiling project and had a bad mix of grout. I needed to find the most efficient way to remove grout and quickly landed on a rotary tool with a grout removal bit. It was an easy choice going with Dremel based on their reputation. What wasn’t so easy was choosing which model I wanted to accomplish the job at hand and stay on a budget. This is where I landed with the 200 Series. It offered the consistent power a cordless couldn’t and was cost effective verse the higher end models with variable speeds. In the end, the 200 Series made quick work of the grout, using the excellent grout removal bit that helps guide and keep the bit at the proper angel. For this particular job, I will say the 5,000 RPMs wasn’t quite fast enough, making the bit jump around and the 30,000 RPMs certainly did the trick and quickly, but got dust everywhere. Just a word of caution, where safety gear and seal off your working area (keeping some ventilation). I have not used the 200 Series for any other job yet, but for the cost, I figured I’ve got myself a versatile tool for many odd jobs that pop up. Fine detail sanding and lawn mower blade sharpening are a couple that come to mind.

I had one but I couldn't get the bit out, so I had to buy another one. Same great tool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Roggie Ease of use for my needs.
I should have purchased this sooner as it would have made my repair project easier and quicker. After purchasing this tool plus a couple of cutters my repair project was completed in just a few minutes rather than much longer by hand.
