CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Only good for very light work The tool has little power and the charge does not last long. Tried to cut off a 5mm steel rod and gave up as it would not cut, stopped when any pressure was put on it. If you want a tool for plastic and wood, this would be it. January 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Handiest Tool period. I have been using the Dremel Minimite for twenty years now. I am disabled and the size and ergonomics of this tool is perfect for polishing, grinding, rough sanding in tight places and even doing my dogs nails. I have even used it for detailed cutting on the repair of horses hooves. I am still using the same battery as when new. It is super reliable and on hand at all times. At present I am polishing an aluminium car alternator with a larger Dremel corded tool but I still need the Minimite for getting in to the spaces that the larger tool can't do. I would love too see Dremel add a quarter inch to the shafts of all its accessories or make a new tool with a quarter inch collet. September 18, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dremel Mini Rotary Tool I make miniatures and dollhouses on a 1/12th scale. I use the Dremel Mini Mite Rotary tool for making most of my miniatures. This tool is so handy because I can get in very small window openings to sand down in the dollhouses.I can shape pieces of wood or cut out patterns. The best thing is that it is portable so I can bring it to miniature club meetings where we work on projects. It holds a charge for quite a while as an added benefit. There are many accessories to go along with the tool.It remains my tool of choice for my hobby.I highly recommend it for fellow enthusiasts or craftmakers. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Multipurpose Tool This Dremel is a very handy tool to have around the house. On top of it's traditional uses, I've used this also in jewellery making! The small size makes it easy to store and the cordless aspect allows for ease of use. November 11, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Never fails me I've used Dremels since the early '80's for keeping my dogs' toe nails trimmed. I started with a corded version and when it finally died - been serviced many times but the service tech told me it was finally gone - I chose a cordless version and was as delighted with it as I had been with the prior model. The Dremels never fail me. The batteries stay charged for a long time, the attachments are functional and well made - never had one break. One day I might actually try my hand at using the tool for something other than the dog's nails. November 25, 2014
