Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cbustaylor The issue isn't t the tool, but the dog
The tool is functional and reliable, but the aspiration to trim or sand your dog's nails may be more about your dog's willingness than the tool. Neither of my dogs were comfortable sitting still enough to allow me to have one hand on the tool and the other on their paw. It seems that sensitizing your dog to it at an early age is best. Or at least see how your dog reacts (1) to having its paws handles and (2) high-speed tools which make a "fast" noise. My dogs would have failed both those tests and saved me this purchase which now just sits in the drawer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BobS Dremel nails it for dog nails!
Anyone who has used clippers on a dogs toenails will remember how uncomfortable it was for both dog and owner. The Dremel Pet Nail Grooming kit changes all that. As you can see our greyhound, Kiawa, just lays around while my wife sands the nails down. Honest - no anesthesia and no treats. The tool is easy to assemble and use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DogMommy Handy tool
I bought this dremel and the larger 7.3. This one does handle shortening the claws on my 4 dogs (2 danes, border collie-aussie mix and a coonie) with a single charge. ( Did not need to purchase the extra battery as was suggested.) I like the 7.3 for the finer trim work and using the various other head parts to reach areas the larger disks that come with this dremel cannot. This one is quieter than the 7.3 size, but the dogs do not respond to the noise level of either dremel. 3 of the dogs let me do their nails now without grousing as they did with clippers and a file.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HappyKamper1 Rotary Grooming Tool
The Rotary Grooming Tool is lightweight and easy to use. It is a little noisier than our dog would like, but that is to be expected with this type of equipment. The grip is a little awkward, making it a two person operation with a nervous dog.

Bought a year ago & battery charge soon didn't hold for one grooming, so bought another battery pack. Several months later, same thing. Just checked the cells for both, and 4/8 cells are shorted.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gritslady46 Love this dremel nail grinder
I am so glad I heard about this nail grinder to do my standard poodles nails. They hated the other cutter and they do not mind this grinder at all. They have better looking nails and no sharp edges with your grinder. They are happy and so am 8.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sazuniga Great pet tool!
I purchased this about 2 months ago for trimming/ filing my two dogs nails. Works great! Dogs do very well with it. The battery holds a good charge because it lasts the 20min. to do their nails.
