It heats up so fast that it is hard to hold onto as well as the masonry blades are cheap compared to the rotozip product. Spent far too much money for tool to have to replace 6 blades during a bathroom remodel. 6!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Len A great tool!!
Size of cut is just right for those jobs that are a little too small or a little too tight for a regular circular saw. I would suggest that the portable right angle/miter box is a must accessory to use with this tool as well as the square cut box. The only problem with this tool is the dust attachment. The dust attachment is a little too rigid making the connection to the vacuum cleaner hose a little difficult. The dust attachment, however, is a real mess saver!!!

The unit cut a flush cut as stated. However, the unit gets extremely HOT pretty quick. So hot, that you cannot hold it until it cools back down.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DHOUSE Great tool, great purchase.
This seems to be a great tool that I will use quite a bit. I have only used it one time so far to make a quirky cut in drywall that was already in place around a door frame and it worked great. It would be nice if they could find a way to make it cut all the way to the floor and ceiling as I had to use a drywall saw to finish the ends of the cut but it was awesome to be able to set the cut depth and operated the saw with one hand. The long handle also made it tougher to fit in a small space. I'm also glad I bought the kit rather than purchase the saw and accessories separately.

Easy to handle. Ideal for small homecraft projects. Works great on wood and metal. Haven't used on tile yet.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DonW Didn't work like in the video!
Only had the saw-max for about a week so far not impressed. First thing I wanted to do was make a few simple miter cuts using the miter guide which I purchased along with the saw max. I’m no master carpenter but I’m not a beginner either. I followed the instructions, lined everything up and two things happened. One, the saw tore up the miter guide, (see photo), two the blade did not even cut all the through a 5/8-inch board. I know I must have done something wrong, but I even watched a video on this and at this point at a loss of what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

The blades SM510 aren't cheap and have too short life for the price. For the price of 6-7 blades, I can buy a new tool....
