Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 38 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very functional and light I bought this unit several weeks ago and I am very happy with it. Only thing I wish the unit had would be variable speed rather than just fast and slow November 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great multi-use tool I bought on a whim little over a month ago and have been extremely happy with this purchase. The uses for it are countless and it has many accessories and they are reasonably priced too. The fact that it's cordless makes it convenient to use at any moment October 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Constant problems keeping battery in place I bought this a year ago thinking it could help me get some minor jobs around my house done, as soon as I started using it I noticed that the battery does not properly clicks (attaches) to the tool, so I have to constantly apply pressure to the battery (hold it against the tool) otherwise the tool will switch between on and off while I am trying to use it, also battery life in unimpressive. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fits my needs Charged up and worked perfectly out of the box. Have used it for several tasks using both sanding and grinding bits so far. Battery has stayed fully charged on the initial charge for each of the tasks without recharging even though several weeks passed between the first and last usage. Very pleased with its ergonomic feel and ease of use. Love that it is not tethered to an electrical cord although I realize and accept that I am dependent upon battery charge and power. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good for the price the overall is good but when it reaches the top speed it doen't work properly and vibrates. Good for small repairs thou! March 5, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Tool for the Job This is my second Dremel. My first one has lasted over ten years, and many many projects. I bought this new one for its versatility, no cords means km able to do other types of projects, without the limitations of being sick near a power outlet. My first project with this new one was a wind chime, as I was working with the materials many ideas of what project I SHOULD start next. This is indeed a great tool./ ;;; The only CON is the battery doesn't always stay in. June 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this! All the extra heads that come with this dremel make it easy to maintain the claws on my 4 dogs. One charge does all 4 dogs. They do not mind the noise level - I also have the 7300 model which is quieter. They actually prefer this to clipping and filing - no more battles. June 30, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good Tool, Poor Contstruction Dremel has always made a pretty good product, but this model has its issues. The battery pack sometimes comes slightly loose and loses contact, stopping the motor. The charger also has connection issue and has to be "jostled" to get a correct contact so that the charging light comes on. The on/off switch is poorly made and also doesn't always make contact or is difficult to position to off. The good points are a strong motor and hight RPM's. Doing it again I'd pay more and get a little higher end model...still a dremel, just not this model. April 30, 2011
