Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chet This saw is worth it's weight in gold !
I bought this saw because of a recommendation of a friend. I was pretty sure that I was not going to like it, but would keep it in my tool collection " Just In Case."
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was nice and compact, and heavier than expected, in a good way, as it is very solid and sturdy.
I have ended up using this to make some pretty interesting compound cuts for my laminate wood floor. I especially like the flush cut feature of this tool for trimming out the existing floor trim in my home so that I did not have to remove it.
Dremel has made an outstanding tool that will more than likely last for many years to come.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lance Beware....check the model number!!
Online description showed just what I needed at $129.00. Went right to it, as the aisle and shelf were listed. There it was, a $129.00 Dremel 7.5 amp saw. Grabbed it and when I got home, guess what? No pouch and two saw blades instead of four ($30 worth). Same price, but a short set! Was that bait and switch? It is a very good tool and does the job.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DremelAdvocate Performed better than expected
The Dremel Ultra Saw was perfect for the task I needed to do. I needed a "flush cut" saw for a project and this was the only reasonable one I could find. It worked better than expected as it was easy to operate and very powerful for a small tool. I would recommend this to anyone considering this type of electric tool.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jakeparlay Light to Medium Duty
Beefy and powerful enough for medium duty, but if you really push this tool the motor will bog down. Think of it as a miniature circular saw with a different, more controllable way of holding and using the tool.
Professionals will probably overlook this as it's too light, but for homeowners and hobbyists it can find success as a versatile tool. Flush cuts are accurate, but don't look for raw, unbridled power or durability with this one.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jefe Good tool for scoring concrete
I purchased a diamond tile blade and used this to score a 1/8" deep 2' x 2' tile pattern into a concrete slab. The tool is very easy to use. The one problem I had with it was the bone-headed placement of the on-off switch. If you lock the tool in the on position, it is hard to hold the tool without unlocking it / shutting it off. It is natural to wrap your fingers underneath, but that's where the switch is. Other than that, once I got accustomed to holding only the top of the tool, it performed wonderfully well scoring the design. I did not have to use water and the tool did not overheat - plenty of power. I cut about 200' (linear) of scoring over a several hour period of measuring, moving the board, and cutting up against it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HardtoHandle Paid for itself already !!........
I used this for refurbishing our hardwood floors. it was able to cut the material cleanly without the kickback from bigger saws. it is small enough to get into tight areas with accuracy.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jon Great product?
I have to say this little thing works great! The machine itself and workmanship is beyond the expected. The only regret is that you cannot buy extra disks for it. Once you use up what comes with it in the box you are stuck with a useless "excellent" machine per-se. They need to make spares available at the stores too and not only the option of purchasing spare disks through mail-ins that take 6 weeks or more to reach you. That is beyond the purpose! Had I known this before and not when I needed to replace them, I would have never purchased them. Again, the machine is great but with out readily available "now when I need them" spare parts, it is worthless!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greg Accurate and easy to use
This is a very high quality tool. I was surprised at just how accurate I could be with such a small, handheld saw. The blade depth setting is especially accurate and holds it's position very well. It was so repeatable, in fact, that using it to cut sheetrock would allow me to barely score the bottom paper time and again. Sheetrock, I found, was an excellent application for this saw. I also used it to grind material, cut Masonite and PVC. Overall, a very handy and easy to use tool.
