I need to know where i can get these wheels on a constant basis, i use about 10 a month and as of late have not been able to find them in stock at any

Of the local home depots i frequent i have spoken to the hardware dept. And thier response is that said parts are auto ordered. Any help would be greatly sppreciated.

Probably direct from Dremel or order from Home Depot online for home delivery. I am sure HD would be glad to fill your order. Anyway that is what I would try first. When I bought my single unit it was an online purchase and store pick-up.

May 545 diamond wheel blades be purchased seprately?

Asked by: Anonymous
I purchased my 545 diamond wheel blade separately. It was individually packaged next to the rest of the dremel attachments. Make sure you get the right one for your attachments though, as there are a couple different setups.

I've used diamond wheels on my cordless dremel to cut through hollow steel tubing (of a corner spinning kitchen rack, aluminum gutter and 1/4" of plastic in rainbarrels.) All the cutting power I need in my small hands. Be sure to secure blade and use goggles, or blade and sparks may fly!

Using a water coolant, It worked as I expected producing a nice clean cut in a reasonable amount of time . Post process examination revealed there is plenty of life left in the tool and will be used again in other difficult to cut materials.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complete and utter garbage for cutting tile I picked up this wheel for a tile back splash I was doing. I just need to make a few small cuts and one or two longer (3 inch) cuts. It did a horrendous job, could barely make small cuts and it took forever. It is totally not worth 20 bucks. I am very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good for ceramic tile I used the recommended model 545 to cut a around a few door jams and burned thru two blades and still not done. Do not use this product on ceramic tile. Was not satisfied.
