How long does the battery last after fully charged?

I've looked over the specifications of this particular dremel and it just says it takes 3 hours to charge, but nothing about how long a full charge will last. Any help from those of you who have it, would be great. Thanks!
Asked by: toriluisa
In my experience it depends how long the animal's nails where when you used it. The firs time I used it my dog's nails were longer than usual so it drained the battery doing all four feet. It charges very quickly and if you are doing quick trims it should last you much longer.

My finger and toe nails are thick and need to be ground down periodically. Can this tool be used for this purpose?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, based on personal experience. I have nails of normal thickness. I just bought the Dremel and I was practicing first time use BEFORE using it my dog. I used the coarse grit drum and low speed. It worked great. I did both hands and feet and a couple callouses. I will definitely use it again and experiment with the fine grit drum.

The tool had plenty of power for my requirements, fits easily in hand, and was easy to control. Durability of course remains to be seen. It could have included some of the other things mentioned in the description of the tool, such as some of the other common collet sizes, or even a variety of sanding discs, however they all appear to be the same rough grit which limits the value of the "7 attachments" included. I think there could also have been a greater difference in the two speeds, as the lower setting is still very fast, however it is what it is and usable for my needs.

It works but overall not initially up to normal Dremel quality, which is usually superb. The locking chuck has a mushy stop, not positive at all like my other 4 dremel tools. Case is a bit rough. Switch is also less than good quality, hard to turn on with 1 thumb, and kinda clunky. There are no indicator lights on tool to show battery status. Overall not bad, should work, not too noisy so I think motor is ok.
