Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not fit my tool. It claimed it would fit any tool, however it would not fit my Porter Cable tool. December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Drywall Tool I am presently useing this jab saw blade to cut through a bathroom wall in order to install an inset cabinet. It cuts cleanly and precisely. I can begin the cut anywhere with the jab blade and cut out small squares, in order to determine whether there are any studs, pipes, and wires inside the wall where the cabinet is to be placed. I can control the depth at which I am cutting, to make sure nothing that may be inside the wall is damaged. The cuts are so refined, that I can pop out a small square of drywall, and place it back into the wall if needed. If I found I could not install the cabinet, repairing the wall would require minimal plastering. January 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very cool attachment. This oscillating attachment is a cool little replacement for a keyhole saw. On the up side, it's very effective and really fast... on the down side it seems to generate a little more dust than my old keyhole saw. You can plunge cut without drilling a starter hole and then just pull it through the drywall. I really like that the cutting depth is only a few millimeters deeper than the drywall. My house was built in 1965 and I constantly find wiring that is way too close to the drywall (I guess standards were a little more lax back then). I used to have nightmares about my keyhole cutting into some wire, so I'm going to use this as much as possible. January 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Specialized Drywall Tool The Dremel Drywall Jab Saw Blade provides precise control when cutting contours, circles or straight cuts in 5\8" drywall. It attached to my name brand multitool using the supplied universal adapter and functions just as advertised. Compared to my spiral cutter, it makes less mess and more accurate cuts for an overall cleaner construction process! February 14, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Prefer a jig saw and specialized drywall blades This is a good addition to the oscillating toolbox to increase your options, or for the occasional DIYer that leans heavily on their oscillating tool for most projects. However, it doesn't cut quickly enough for my taste and I prefer something more aggressive, like a jig saw with a wood cutting blade that has been trimmed to minimize pass-thru during the cut. This blade will let you cut in places a jigsaw won't fit though, and it lets you cut as precise as a scalpel, it's just slow and I have other methods I'd try first. January 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much better than I expected At first look it seems this blade cuts very similar to a jig saw. I thought that it wouldn't be much better. What I had not considered is the ability to position the blade at various angles, due to the mounting options with the Multi-Max tool. That makes cutting with it much easier than the fixed format of a jig saw. The blade came with adapters for other brands of tools. It was nice to see Dremel do this, rather than just cater to purchasers of their specific tool. I was happy to be proven wrong in my initial assessment. Plunge cuts are easier than the jig saw and ergonomics are better with the blade at a 30-45 degree angle from vertical. The biggest advantage I saw with this was when I had to cut drywall over portions of the wall with 2x12s at the face. I could easily control the depth of the cut in a way that the jig saw and roto zip couldn't without blade or bit modification. This was a big time saver. February 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice blade to cut holes in drywall using your multi-tool Blade came with universal adapter. Pointed end made starting hole very easy. Cuts quickly, need good hand control for straight lines. Need to be careful if cutting around plastic junction boxes as its not a router type bit and has no guide. Great if repairing a hole in drywall for cutting out a section for replacement and cutting small holes for running electric wiring. January 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great This is a must needed addition to the line of blades for the multi-max tool. I was always switching between the round and the square blade previously to cut drywall and never felt either one would work exactly how I needed it to. This blade gives me much more accurate cuts.
