This is an extremely versatile tool. I've used it to create rectangular access holes in a piece of plastic and to scrape calking out of a joint to prep for fresh calk. It worked well for both.

These saws are a Christmas Presents. I was very pleased with the delivery sped. I plan on making use of Home Depot's on line services in the future.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TruckeeBob I can now make precision cuts that were not possible before. Great tool!
I replaced damaged carpet with tile which required changes to the baseboards and door trim. This saw enabled me to make the needed precision cuts without removing the trim, significantly reducing the time needed to complete the job.

Things started so well. Great tool. But after maybe 20 minutes total use, over 4 occasions, no matter how much I tightened the bolt which holds the blades in place, the blades vibrate loose within 10 seconds of use. So frustrating. I called the Dremel Help Desk, as advised in other reviews by people who have had the same problem, and they were totally useless. They told me they've NEVER heard of this problem, and knew nothing about the washer which is supposed to fix the problem. I was told the only thing I could do is send the tool in to the repair center. REALLY? I've only had it a couple of weeks. Guess I'll need to investigate buying a small spring washer myself, or just return the tool to Home Depot. Overall, what I thought was a great tool, has turned out to be a real pain!

My french doors face the brunt of the weather and with that suffer. The bottom 3" of the doorway framework had begun to decay. Options were limited, hire a professional to repair, replace the unit, or try the repair myself. I had never owned a tool like this before and after a couple sample cuts took the plunge literary. The tool was very controllable and hefty enough to do the repair. Cut out the decay, replaced and painted the framework. Good as new.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Big Al Just plain handy to have
I was able to eliminate a couple of other tools (donated to an air museum) because my MM20 does everything those tools did and it's just all round a better single tool to have in my arsenal.
