This blade works great for softer things, but metal??? not so much.. Cutting through a piece of wood I ran into a screw, and the blade became really dull - so much so that I couldn't really trim anything with accuracy after that. Like I said, light duty. I have used this tool for a few years now, and it really helps in a pinch.

I'm sure its good for wood trim or plastic but given the results for metal I'm guessing drywall will kill it quick too

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dremel Multi Max I needed a percision cutting tool to cut wood trim and sheetrock and everything I read led me to Dremel. I have happy with the price of the multi-max. Then I realized that I would have to purchase several wood/metal blades because the get dull quickly. The cost effective approach is now becoming costly at $10-$11 a pop.
