I used this to take up 60 year old linoleum in a 40 sq. ft. entryway, since the area was too small to go after with my floor scraper. It moved quicker (kept it at a higher setting, cut some lines with a knife and then used my MM45 at a 6) than I would have expected for the size of the scraper. Probably the easiest non-chemical solution I could have found given the small area I worked on, didn't gouge out the sub floor or anything. Could probably stand a sharpening after finishing but I'm glad I picked this up.

I bought this scraping blade as I needed to remove a small patch of vinyl flooring in the basement. At first I was just attempting to use an old cutting blade (mm462) that had no teeth left. While it worked, it was a slow tedious process. I could not be happier with the mm600 scraper blade. Within about 10 minutes, I was able to remove a 24 sqft area with minimal effort. It is a must have for removing decades old vinyl flooring.

Great quality product. Used it so far to removed fiberglass from the floor pan of a classic car, and it has worked flawlessly. It does jar your hand a little bit when you hit solid metal head-on!

This scraper blade works great on my cheapo Harbor Freight multi-use tool. I scraped old caulk off brick around my door and it worked perfectly.

The Dremel oscillating saw works perfectly with this tool. I don't know if it fits other saws, but I did look at some other scraper blades from other makers that looked weaker. Didn't need sharpening after 1000 square feet.

Not good for removing linoleum. Useful only for very small areas.

Major issue is... The blade does not hold an edge very well or very long. Becomes dull, making you go back to the old stand by a hand scraper with a razor

HI GUYS AND GALS, SEASON'S GREETINGS. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE DREMEL CO. FOR MAKING THIS ACCESSORY, BECAUSE WITHOUT THIS TOOL I WOULD BE STRUGGLING RIGHT NOW. I'M A NEWBIE. I NEVER WORKED WITH ANY KIND OF TOOL UNTIL MY DAD PURCHASED A DREMEL MULTI- MAX FOR MY B-DAY. HE SAW HOW HARD I WORKED SCRAPING OLD VINYL TILES AND HOW I STRUGGLED TO REMOVE THEM. BEFORE, I USED A CHISEL AND MALET AND THEN LATER ON A HEATGUN. THE HEATGUN HELPED ME OUT TREMEDOUSLY,BUT IT BOTHERED ME BECAUSE OF THE FUMES FROM THE VINYL TILES AND ADHESIVES. WITH THIS ATTACHMENT IT MADE THE TASK OF REMOVING THE VINYL TILES A LOT EASIER. NOW I'M EXCITED TO PURCHASE THE OTHER ACCESSORIES IN THE FUTURE. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE FRIENDLY STAFF THAT HELPED ME WHEN I WENT TO YOUR FLOORING DEPT. WHERE I BEGAN TO SHOP FOR TILES WITH MY MOM. ONE OF THE GUYS FROM GARDENING RICH TOOK HIS TIME TO HELP MY MOM WITH A MOTORIZED STORE SCOOTER. HE WAS PASSING THROUGH AND SAW THE PUZZLED LOOK ON MY FACE. LIKE I SAID I'M A NEWBIE.. HE GAVE US SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT WAS NEED FOR US TO START WHEN GETTING READY TO SET TILES. THAT DAY WE BOUGHT A LOT OF MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE TASK. I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR THEIR HELP.
