Reconditioned Multi-Max 2.3-Amp Oscillating Tool is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Indispensible This tool does jobs that no other can. It is rugged, and has very little vibration. I've only found one problem: The blade-attaching bolt quickly (in seconds) comes loose at certain (resonant?) speeds, no matter how tight it's torqued. I initially found this very annoying, until I tried changing the speed a little, and then it stayed tight. It doesn't seem to be unsafe, as I could tell the blade was loosening before the point where the blade might fall off, and even if it did, it wouldn't fly off as it might on a rotary tool. Other than this problem, which isn't mentioned in the manual, I'm very happy with the tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from paid for itself with the first job My french doors face the brunt of the weather and with that suffer. The bottom 3" of the doorway framework had begun to decay. Options were limited, hire a professional to repair, replace the unit, or try the repair myself. I had never owned a tool like this before and after a couple sample cuts took the plunge literary. The tool was very controllable and hefty enough to do the repair. Cut out the decay, replaced and painted the framework. Good as new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I bought this realizing that it would only used sparingly. Therefore, I was looking at price first. I had heard of Dremel products all my life, so I thought I would give it a try. The MM20 works great for around the house usage. I just cut off eight door casings for a new floor installation. It couldn't have worked any better for the job that I was doing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertized and good value for the money. Have used this tool several times and it has saved me time and effort. Works as advertized. Did have trouble with the blade comming loose twice, but found that you just have to really tighten it down and have had now trouble since.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just plain handy to have I was able to eliminate a couple of other tools (donated to an air museum) because my MM20 does everything those tools did and it's just all round a better single tool to have in my arsenal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am just a hobbiest but it woked fine for my project. The ocilating tool worked fine and appeared to be new even though it was reconditioned. It would have been great if it came with a half moon saw blade but still a good value.
