Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by aj846 Fantastic Grout Removal Tool
The Dremel MM40 is the only tool I recommend to remove grout. The semi-circle grout removal attachment allowed me to get in all of the areas needed to get all of the grout out of my shower floor. The quick release feature is so nice because it allows you to turn the attachment as needed to get into tight spaces. Since I never attempted a project like this, it seemed overwhelming at first. After making my first pass between a row of tiles with my MM40, my anxiety melted away. I just love my MM40 and my newly grouted shower!

I wrote a review a while back and it wasn't very favorable. I got an email from Dremel saying they were sorry that I wasn't happy and would work with me to rectify the problem. I don't know if I just got a couple of lemons or I was too hard on the tools but let me tell you, I am so satisfied with customer service that I wouldn't by any other multi tool other than Dremel! They not only picked up my MM40 at no charge to me, they also picked up my MM20 and replaced both tools at no charge to me! How can you beat that? I have had no problems with either tool and I use then almost every day from cutting nail embedded wood to sanding. I can't say enough good things about a company that stands behind their product. Would I recommend this tool? You bet your boots!

I broke a brand new floor tile when I moved my cast iron claw foot tub into the new
bathroom addition. So, after some research, I bought the Dremel MM40, the 1/8"
grout removal attachment, and the 24 grit carbide rasp. I've never done this before,
but, this combination of tools made it very simple. I can't imagine attempting this
with anything else. The Dremel makes tight spaces disappear. Almost a surgical
instrument!! It performed flawlessly.

I bought this to cut a hole in my cabinet I had made in order to incorporate a wall switch. So I took the wood blade, 1.5 inch thick to cut through... 1.5 inch thick. And it worked! I look forward to using the other tools.
My only problem, is that after the first use, is that the blade seem to always be 2-5 degrees off center. But I worked another hour (of tool use) and the offset is always the same. Not perfect so 4 stars... but close to 5 still

I bought my multi tool about 2months ago, after comparing cost and perceived quality, I decided on the dremell. I'm a tile setter by trade, but also do carpentry work as well. After using this tool for multiple jobs, including cutting for lambs and casing, grout removal and also using as a coping saw, I am very impressed!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bms231 Warrantied 4 times in 2 years
I can't recommend this product as I have not had it work more than one time each use before it broke. I have only used it four times in 2 years and each time, it broke within the first 15 minutes of use. First time, cutting nails holding in a door frame. Power switch kept going off. Second time, cutting drywall around a copper pipe. Quick bit attachment twisted around and could never attach bits again. Third time, cutting a piece of hardwood flooring out for replacement. Died and would not power back on. Fourth time, cutting a piece of masonite (wood) siding around an exterior molding. Tool would lose power, come alive, lose power, go off, come alive. Horrible. I really really hate this tool. I bought on the dremel name and they have been good with warrantying it but I can't use a tool I don't trust to work for more than 15 minutes. I wish they would give me my money back.

I now have TWO dead MultiMax tools. When the first died I had to buy a replacement that day to finish a job. That one died about two months later. I will never, ever buy another Dremel product.
