Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Must Have Anyone that has a Dremel or similar tool is missing the boat if they don't have this work station.. It has far too many features to list. I use mine everyday for polishing, cutting rock, drilling, sharpening tools. It is straight forward to use and you will constantly be finding other uses for it. I use this tool more than any other tool in my rotary tool collection.. One of the finest tools DREMEL makes.. May 20, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Handy Drill Press for Dremel Tool This product is exactly what I needed to make straight holes with my Dremel tool without having to hold the tool in my hand. It is excellent quality and the Home Depot delivery was fast and accurate. I'm very pleased. April 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great gadget Great for hobby work. If you do any model building at all, this will save you time and frustration. Its good for all sorts of other little fix it jobs that you would never even think you’d need it for. Bit holder is nice too. Highly recommended January 8, 2009
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by owner I found the Press very good, however the assembly directions are very difficult to understand. It took me over an hour to assemble. April 16, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT DEVICE!! FIRST of all, I want to address the BAD reviews here - The instructions for assembly are limited, but the assembly was quite simple and logical to me, but then again I am mechanically minded. So I have added some "helpful hints" and pics in my review for others not so gifted, HA! A couple people said that the unit was unstable, but I have just drilled holes through several pieces of beach sea glass without any problems at all .... Perpendicular holes BTW, and without any slipping or the bit rolling across the surfaces. Here are my insights and pics ~ There is an 11/16 bolt which secures the main post, preventing the dremel from sliding around left or right. Unlike the person in the negative review, I do not anticipate any slippage or of the need for it be tightened again, once it is properly ratcheted tightly into place. Next, There are [5] 1/8 inch, brass, flat head screws which need to be adjusted {tightened} after you have installed the dremel tool into the press. [ See the "green" arrows in the pics. ] Once these screws are adjusted there is no "play" in the dremel at all, and it slides straight and smoothly down onto the object to be drilled. "YES", the unit is mostly plastic, but for $50 I think it is very well made and should last any hobbyist a long while IMHO. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and I hope some of this info helps you ~ December 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not so good with 4200 I have been a huge fan of Dremel, but I really have mixed feelings about the Workstation 220. It is specified that it can be used with a Rotary tool 4200. The cutouts for controls in the holding cup are not diametrically opposite (they are 90 deg apart) and hence once the tool is in position, I can only access one side of the quick change, thus making it useless. Of course I can cut out an access hole but I do not expect to make these kind of modifications when it can be helped. My rating is based on it use with Dremel 4200. If I was using a tool with a regular collet, I would had rated it higher. February 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A bit shoddy A bit shoddy, but it gets the job done.I haven't used it to a great extent yet.I like the fact that there are different settings,at different angles. February 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really Handy at my Watchmakers Bench What a great device. If set up and secured properly It does a great job in drilling sanding and most of all for me grinding, polishing and buffing parts for clocks and watches. You don't always want to use a normal flex shaft system, and my larger buff/grinding wheel is too big. Due to eye issues I have a very hard time drilling strait wit a flex shaft hand piece. There are accessories to turn a fles motor into a drill press, stationary grinder but they are VERY expensive. For the price this is a FANTASTIC product. I've had it about 3 months and I use it every day. I've even had a couple of watch/clockmaker/bench jeweler friends come over to my shop to check it out and they ran right out and bought their own!!!
