I have used this saw blade to cut sheet metal and conduit pipe but it wears down almost immediately. The Saw Max saw works fine, but the metal blades are ridiculously expensive given their useful life making the saw itself very expensive. DON'T waste your money.

The wheel wears down quickly and makes it difficult to cut through thick material without having to change the blade half-way through the cut. Also, its quick wear and small diameter makes it difficult on R-Panel cuts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quickly worn out I gave it a try to cut really thin steel plate into 3 ft. strips and it disappeared in less than two strips! Not even 5 feet and it's a gauge 28 sheet. I mean, it's such a thin plate that it's hard to find one. To finish cutting the second plate I had to bend it, and then finish it... with a Dremel rotary tool, whose cutting disk handled the job much better! So, the saw disk is worn out with the same plate that the rotary tool disk can cut without problems?! it's a disaster

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but wears down fast I used this to cut a metal bar stool in half. It did the job, but by the time I finished the wheel diameter went from 3inches down to 1 or so (barely past the tool depth). It worked, but you'll go through a lot of them if you have a medium or large sized project

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Perfect for wood - not for metal! used it for wood only until today. the metal blade works good - bot not for long! Since these blades are not cheap to begin with, it's a real bummer that you have to replace them after just cutting one pipe. what's up with the expiration date on the blades?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wheel wears down to nothing I am cutting a thin steel sheet into 8 6" x 6" square cuts I need to make. The wheel made it through 1 of the squares I have to cut before it was worn down to a nub.
