OVERALL: Three great tools. Sand, cut, shape, polish, lots of possibilities. SawMax was very pleasant surprise. MultiMax and 3000 are workhorses everyone needs, Carry bag is very nice.
SAWMAX: Like an angle grinder and a circular saw had a kid. Quick and dirty cuts like a grinder, but precision and adaptability of a circular saw. Most impressive of the tools in my opinion.
MULTIMAX: Very good for finish work, Sanding, light cutting, scrapping, does a lot. Good balance for finish sanding. Adjustable head allows cutting at any angle.
DREMEL 3000: Slightly lighter weight than my 4000 model, a little less power too. Slows down a little faster when used at high speeds... A little easier to handle though, very nice.
CASE: Very well made and set up. When all three tools in the bag they hold in place very well. You can shake it without a single bang or clang. Good addition to the kit.
ACCESSORIES: Only downside of the kit. The accessories are just a taste of what you will want. Once you get use to these, you will happily drop at least another hundred on gadgets.

This is a nice little combo kit and it's convenient it all comes in one package. The whole idea is you can do a lot with this kit and leave behind several other tools that would take up significantly more space. In addition if you're thinking about buying 2 of the 3 items of this kit, it makes total sense to just buy this kit, it's worth it. As for the tools themselves: The dremel is exactly what you know and expect, nothing but good things to say there. The multi-max is good, but I wish it was the 2.5 amp version for two reasons. A little more power and the integrated chuck key. (more on this later) I feel like the saw-max is really the unique part of this kit. It's really convenient to use for quick cuts. I do wish the wood blade left a cleaner edge, this is certainly not ideal for anything with an exposed edge or any type of finish cut. Better yet, it would be great if you could get different blades with actual tooth counts. The biggest overall complaint for me was the lack of integrated chuck key. Not only that, but the allen wrench size for the saw-max and multi-max and different sizes. Why?? Not even a storage spot for the allen wrench. I know it seems like a small thing, but you'll misplace that wrench and then it's just annoying. I know it's not a deal breaker, but common now. I still think this is a good option for a DIYer to have several options for all your home projects. I just think there is some room for improvement as well.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Texas 3 tools in one, but less accessory bits
This kit contains three different Dremel tools; a Dremel 3000 high-performance rotary tool, a Dremel Multi-Max MM20 tool, and a Dremel Saw-Max SM20. Included is a canvas accessory bag, and 15 different Dremel accessories. Dremel are well known for quality tools, and the 3 supplied tools in this kit are no exception. Each tool perfectly balances its power with tool size; large enough to get the job done quickly but not so large they are unwieldily.
I found the tools ergonomically balanced and easy to use for extended periods of time, and easy to control when doing fine work.
Each tool is supplied with a basic, and somewhat sparse, accessory kit. I own several other Dremel tools, and each one came with an array of accessories. This kit is going to appeal to the DIY enthusiast or hobbyist that wants to get a selection of Dremel tools to which they will add there own accessories and bits. This has its advantages, as you are not paying for bits you won’t ever use.
Personally, I prefer the supplied canvas bag over the conventional hard plastic Dremel tool cases. The only down side being the lack of organization options in the canvas bag.
The tools in this kit are not quick change tools, they require the use of the supplied hex keys or supplied wrench. Sadly, each tool has its own tool for changing the bits. So you end up with 2 different size allen wrenches (one wrench fits one tool, and another wrench fits the other) and a standard Dremel supplied wrench for the rotary tool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hpiguy Powerful, Compact, All in One Combo Kit with Accessories
The Dremel Ultimate 3 Tool Combo Kit is exactly what it sounds like. You get three of Dremel's best tools, enough accessories to use them for many tasks and an excellent canvas carrying bag to tote all of them around.
Every tool is a nice weight in the hand and feels robust. No wimpy thin plastic and weak motors to burn out. They have long flexible cords and all three are built well and made to last. They are backed with a two year warranty.
Included in this kit is the ubiquitous Dremel rotary tool. Everyone needs a Dremel rotary tool. Everyone. It's abilities are endless and it's durability is legendary. The Dremel 3000 is included in this kit and it's as good as any I've ever owned. It has an excellent new feature called the EZ Twist nose cap, which acts as the wrench for the bit collet. No more trying to find that small wrench to change bits. Unscrew the EZ Twist nose cap and it wrenches down the collet easily and quickly. I love it! You also have variable speed on this tool to ensure your using just enough speed to get the job done, but not too much to ruin the project. There is a reason why people refer to any rotary tool as a 'Dremel'. They make the best ones out there.
Next up is the well known Dremel Multi Max MM20 oscillating tool. Ever since these hit the market every single handyperson has wanted one. They are simply one of the most useful tools in a person's arsenal for tasks around the home. Cutting under base boards for flooring? Zipping off the ends of drywall? Shearing off a nail head level with the surface? The Multi Max is made for it all and more. This also has variable speed allowing you to fine tune your cuts and ensuring quality work.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Saw Max SM20. This is a mini circular saw and has found it's place among those that need powerful saws to cut in small places. Slicing off the end of flooring while getting right up to the wall, cutting out more space for door jams, dropping in a quick cut to replace a botched joinery job. Look to the Saw Max to get it done for you. It has a quick spring loaded depth of cut adjustment lever that comes in quite handy. This one is the only tool in the bunch that doesn't have variable speed. Given it's purpose I can see why that feature wouldn't be necessary.
Each Dremel tool in this combo pack is given a couple blades, adapters and bits to get you started. Extra accessories can be found from Home Depot. If you can think of a task, there is a good chance you can find a Dremel attachment, blade or bit for it. The only issue I had with the tool kit was the accessories were just tossed in the bag, and the small cutoff wheels for the rotary tool were all broken. It's not a big deal and they are cheap to replace, but I'd like to see them pack these better in the future.
What more do you need than this tool kit from Dremel? I can't think of any project I've ever done on my house where one or more of these tools wouldn't have been nice to have at that time.
I highly recommend this tool kit to anyone doing work on their home, and for woodworking hobbyists as well.

What can't you do with this kit? There has been so many times I needed a little something more to make a clean finish or to get into that hard to reach area. The tools in this kit will solve that problem. From cutting that hard to reach molding in the corner when putting down a new floor, to cutting small hard to reach areas. Trimming or cutting out pieces in metal building. Polishing or grinding small areas. Cutting bicycle cable housing. I'll keep it handy, because it's going to help me finish faster, with a better, more impressive look. Everybody should have this set. If you don't have one now, you'll be looking for one later.

I was waiting to purchase the Saw Max and Multi-max since I have an older Dremel Rotary but after seeing all of these in one tool bag, I had to get. I do wish there was a little more room in the tool bag so I could have the blades for the Saw Max and Multi-max in small cases instead of loose in the side pockets.
I'm remodeling my house and I've been using these tools everywhere.
The Saw Max works great on plaster and Lath.
The Multi-Max works wonders for touch-up cuts and hard to reach places.
