We had someone install these shower doors for us. He did mention he had do extra caulking because they initially leaked at the corners. After he did that they were great. They have a sturdy feel to them.

Instructions require hacksawing the top rail and base if fit is not exact. This is a very difficult process without special equipment and the result can affect the end product appearance. Additional suggestions and guidance on this process would be helpful. Also, there is no mention in the instructions on leveling the top rail and base or any way to compensate for slight variations to ensure proper final operation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chuck Very nice high quality shower door
I picked this door because it met my size specs and has thicker glass than inexpensive door sets for a very reasonable price. Each piece of glass weighs 60 lbs. The frame is made out of heavy gauge extrusions that fit well. I liked the fact that it could handle an out of square door because the walls in the house are not perfect.
Often times when I'm assembling a project like this I end up missing a small part like a screw or a trim piece. The door came with a bag of assorted spare screws and screw trim caps which came in handy.
While you don't have to be a shower door installer you do need to have good mechanical skills and some decent tools. The instructions are just OK. You have to be able to build things square. Make sure you have a decent level. You have to cut the aluminum extrusions to the correct length. While you can use a hacksaw I have a power miter saw with a carbide tipped blade which makes a nice square professional cut.
This wasn't addressed in the instructions; be prepared to drill holes into the tile to mount the door frame. You will need a 5/16" diamond drill bit and know how to use it.
I read reviews on many doors where people complained that they leaked water around the frame when in use. I tested this door and there was no water leaking at all.

These glass shower doors are very nice - a bit thicker glass than others on the market. The complaints I have about them are: 1) the dual towel bars - appearance is not very attractive to me but acceptable 2) the ClearMax label on each door is not removable and was placed upside down, clearly visible 3) too many grey colored bumpers on the track. However, I can live with these complaints and am content with the purchase

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sunil Great Look, Installation and Features!
Got a replacement shower door for my kids bathroom and this unit is by far excellent with all metal parts and very sturdy. Also, the sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful in determining what I needed so that it would fit. I would say they have "Excellent customer service."

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by noviceremode1er excellent quality
I purchased this shower door after noticing that it was on sale as an overstocked item. It is an excellent quality door for the price. I am so glad I went with the 5/16" glass it really makes a difference. My installer was impressed with the quality and asked jokingly if the glass was bullet proof !

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by izzy This is a very difficult shower door to install.
The design is of Poor quaility. Cheap rollers and parts. Not an easy shower door to install. Glass will pinch and break real easy.
