A great tool from start to finish, Easy loading nails..It's lightweight, has a comfortable grip, The see thru nail reservoir lets you know exactly how many nails you have left. The wide base makes it very stable and if your using it in a kneeling position you can easily push yourself up wth the handle. The nail depth adjustment is extremely easy and the plastic feeding sysem on the coils of nails seemed to feed very well.
It also came just in time to add a gate to the backyard, Came in very handy and worked well... this nailer is sturdy and will work well for a long time,,,,,

The first thing I noticed was the light weight of this nailer, which helps prevent fatigue. Loading a roll of nails is as simple as lifting a latch to expose the nail chamber, placing a roll inside, and latching the start of the roll on to the nail feed pin at the front of the unit.
The nailer does not have a depth stop gauge, instead you adjust the pressure of the air from the compressor.
I found the nailer to be very simple to operate and did not have one nail jam, double feed, or misfeed.
After adjusting my air pressure to match the lumber I was nailing, I found the results to be consistent every time.
The Duo Fast DF225C is a lightweight nailer, perfectly designed for fast, continuous, and repeatable results.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by trogo Lightweight and High Quality Siding Nailer
I recently obtained the new Duo-Fast DF225C Pneumatic Siding Nailer. The first thing I noticed out of the box is the light weight and great ergonomics of the tool. Although designed for siding, the DF225C works equally as well on fencing and wood decks. Further details are discussed below.
The DF225C weighs only 4.5 lbs. and holds a whopping 300 nails in the coil holder, ranging in length from 1.5 to 2.5 inches. The nails are collated using a 0 degree plastic material and discharges a clean nail when fired. It has an adjustable depth knob and two triggers included, one for sequential fire and another for rapid (bump) firing. It also comes with two non-marring tips to protect delicate surface. The exhaust port is also adjustable for your convenience.
The only negative item I have found is the DF225C will sometimes double fire in rapid mode. For that reason, I recommend using the sequential trigger for novice users. Very high quality nailer!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CMMToolMan Well designed siding nailer
This siding nailer is well-crafted from metal and some plastic parts. The nail magazine opens wide to accept a supply of coiled nails, and the controls are large, easy to see and use. It has a comfortable grip and construction is simple. I mistakenly fired a nail that was slightly too large for the gun causing a jam in the firing mechanism. I was surprised how simple it was to disassemble the power head from the nail breech and remove the nail. There are very few parts in the entire power head mechanism. The fit and finish of the tool are very good, and it appears to be very durable. The gun can be used for roofing and other applications besides siding. A really nice tool.

This is my first siding nailer but I am very happy to have it in my garage. The nail coils come with 3600 nails and, while expensive, is probably the last reel of nails I will have to buy for a pretty long time as I am just a regular home owner and not a commercial user.
I am happy to report my hammer now is only used for pulling out old nails! I am getting ready to re-finish my fence and I am happy to report that since the nailer is easy to use my wife will be doing a large part of the job!

If I was a professional (I'm not!) I would be able to handle this a bit better. As it stood, I kept double tapping every time I tried to use this. But it is well made and it made siding the barn faster. Except for me having to pull the double nails or trying to drive them down. But that was my issue. If you use guns like this a lot, I would look at this one. Definitely a professional item.
