This stuff is advertised to be as good as Aluminum flashing. I bought this product to cover pressure treated lumber on my deck. It bends in the same brake that I bend aluminum in. HOWEVER it does not hold the bends well at all and it ripples whenever you try to pull it and nail the edges. I covered 102 feet of board with it only to use as a buffer between the pressure treated wood and the aluminum flashing I plan to put over it. Do not expect this product to work like aluminum

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by termiteshield inferior product
manufacturer's literature states this product is ideal for a termite shield, which is why I purchased it. the product is ridiculously thin, at least five times thinner than i expected. i had to install it anyway because i cannot afford the alternative of copper or zinc. i am not finished with the construction and it is already damaged/torn. i would not recommend this product for any location where it can be touched, because it will be damaged.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by mark Poor quality not durable for deck
Hi I bought this to use to wrap around the deck and cover up the posts. it is very flimsy and anytime you bend it, it will crease and have a mark on it. Does not look good. I used cellular pvc boards instead $20 for 8ft piece. More expensive but looks much better and will last a lot longer.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by fivestar55 Not as advertised by manufacturer. Fine for flashing.
I purchased product after researching for a bendable, no maintenance, solution to cover pressure treated wood. I was directed to HD after contacting manufacturer directly. Not a good solution, as was publicized by manufacturer. I am sure I can use it as flashing, but it would be overpriced for that purpose. (It appears to be appropriately advertised by Home Depot!)

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by washingtong Does what it is supposed to. Easy to bend and won't react with pressure treated lumber.
I bought this since the painted galvanized flashing that was previously installed was reacting with the pressure treated lumber. It was easy to bend and to install. The one down side is it does not take much to poke a hole through the flashing, so you need to be careful of nails and such.

It is what it is, but it curls, waves, looks terrible when bent. Heat makes it wavy. A waste of $30
