Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by kala Serious damage when received. Unusable.
As said by many on reviews the stove pipe was extremely damaged. Unusable. I will have to return it. So with that,I have to go ahead and buy here in town costing me double or more as I am putting new pipes up now.
As far as the product,it is a good heavy pipe.
But heavy or not,if it's so bent up,crinkled up and rusted, not much use. They really need to do better with packaging obviously. If it wasn't for that,I would give it 5 stars and recommend.
Received within a week.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dad the better alternative, but not a great finish on it
Clicking "yes" to say I would recommend this pipe, is a way of saying: more so than the alternative, which is the kind that comes as a sheet you have to squeeze together at the crimps before installing. This is a bit heavier pipe, the intersecting crimps at the end fit together very nicely; the only thing is, especially with an elbow, it takes a long time for the burning paint smell to go away, and some of the paint with it. A straight stack with no elbows, preferable anyway but not always practical, might not experience this. But on the elbow just above the stove top on mine, the paint is already half gone after a couple of autumn months' burning and I still smell it sometimes from what is left of it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Kjs5055 Did Not Fit
Like another review, I bought a wood stove from HD (Englander 2400 SF model) and this pipe did not fit. The outside diameter of the pipe is slightly larger than the inside diameter of the stove's outlet. Unlike the other 1 star, the pipe I had was in excellent condition, and I am really bummed it didn't fit because the pipe is very sturdy and has a welded seam. Looks like I am stuck using the cheap stuff from lowes/tractor supply.

When I received my chimney pipe it was oval in stead of round. Perhaps it needed a stronger box. I made it as round as I could and used it anyway.

I have used other brands of pipe in the past, but have found Duravent to stand out amongst its competitors. Form, fit and function is second to none.

By far the cheapest cost for same product sold elsewhere. High quality, fit perfectly, easy to install

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stretch These 4 foot pipes are the best you can get
This is so much better than those 2 foot pieces that have to be assembled along the seam on the side. That seam can come apart so a solid pipe is better. You can cut the pipe if you need less than 4 feet. Its great stuff.

Bought a $1,000 wood burning stove from HD & bought this pipe for venting. First off, two of the three pieces had dents around their ends. Secondly, not only did the pipe not fit into the stove outlet (too wide) but I couldn't even get the pieces to fit into each other! Totally worthless junk, but I got what I paid for.
