I'm really pleased with this generator. It was easy to uncrate and assemble the wheel kit. You could turn it over because it had no gas or oil in it yet! Added oil and gas. Hooked up the battery and followed the directions to start. Not too loud, we could talk standing right next to it while running.

Starts easy. Now put in a stored mode in case we get a storm or long power outage

Long story short, I went through two of these before I gave up. The first one, the engine seized up. Had it for about 40 days. (yes there was plenty of oil in it) Returned to Home Depot, and after a long drawn out affair, they agreed to have corporate issue a check. Said it might take 4-6 weeks. Groan. Actually got it in two. Good job.
The second one ordered from HD, and it lasted 3 hours. Then it stopped generating power. I did all that i knew to do. Took it back, and got a credit on our credit card because we had it less than 30 days.
When they worked, the 50 amp service did everything on our 37 foot 5th wheel. Worked really well, but it was very loud. It did eat up fuel, got about 10 hours before it ran out. With an 8 gallon tank, it started to get a bit costly.
Soooo, I went back to the Honda 3000i that we had. It will work with the air in the trailer, but not much else at the same time. So we are dealing with it. The Honda is extremely quiet. I mean extremely . And I get 13-14 hours per tank, so it is much cheaper to run. Certainly it costs literally twice as much, but it works every time.
It was impossible to find a generator for $1000.00 that has a 50 amp circuit, so this was a real disappointment. In looking on line initially no one had bad things to say. Now, with more indepth research, i found lots of problems, not the least of which there is NO tech number. None, zero, zip. One fellow said the company based in California imports these from China, repackages them, and then sells them. Who knows cause you can't reach them.
I guess when something looks too good to be true, maybe it is a warning.
Finally, I am glad to have bought this from Home Depot. I did look on line, and could have ordered it from other companies, but a return would have been a nightmare. I knew that. Something just told me DON'T order from an internet company. Certainly glad I didn't.
Buyer be forwarned, and BEWARE.!

Overall good generator. Only things thst bugbme is the fuel fill. Screen is so shallow its very hard to fill with new style gad cans without it spilling all over. And the handles seem kinda cheap. But runs well and not to louf

Purchased on Jan. 08, 2016 and shipping was close to arrival date to local store, missed it by 3 days. No big deal. Generator was easy to assemble and was completed within 30 min. Had to run out and buy a quart of oil and it fired right up. Mfg. did include 2 metric wrenches for assembly but I'd rather had the oil! Now for the nit picks .... an hour meter would complement the voltage meter, the gas gauge is SLOW to respond so keep track of how many gallons you dump in. Wasted gas when it over flowed and the gas gauge still reads 1/2 a tank. The fill screen for the gas is so fine that it would take some time to add 5 gal so just pull the chain and it comes right out. An inline gas filter would have been nice but AutoZone is just up the street. It needs the key in the ON position to even pull start it (started on 2nd pull) and the key cannot be removed until you shut it off. FYI ,one last thing, my whole house 30 amp plug fits ok but I had to add a small bungee cord around the cable and to the top of the frame in order keep it from sagging at the plug end.Yes I twisted clockwise it as I should but it still sags! At 65 .... my idea of a good time starting the Gen is an On/Off toggle switch and a push button start. I still will give it a 5 Star rating. Hope it goes 10 years like my Honda did.

Purchased the generator almost a month ago, and still trying to get a part from the Manufacturer that was missing with the shipment. Numerous phone calls and emails were ignored, even though the Reps said my request was being processed. An item like a generator can't be considered dependable, and doesn't amount to much of a value, without adequate Product Support.

We found this generator to be well built and strong. Very easy install on the wheels and handles. You must add 30W oil (not provided) and just crank the starter a few times to circulate the oil. The battery is easily strong enough to start the generator easily. Will use propane for primary fuel and it starts easily; also, we purge the propane line prior to starting even when unit is warm. Starts faster. The idle down is a bit rough and that is expected due to being new and using propane. We expect the low idle to smooth out as the unit is broken in.
We would like to have seen a cover over the control panel so we will make one. Not a con, just a preference.
Highly recommend everyone to get this generator. It is very quiet as stated by the manufacturer. Our other brand generators are twice as loud. Buy this unit, you will not be disappointed.

I have only started and ran it the one time. the Gas Cock is a little odd and I thought I had it on but I was wrong and it would run for 5 seconds and shut down, until I realized I had the cock in the wrong position. My BAD, but it's interesting it would start back up and run for a 5 seconds or so before shutting down, making me wonder if the gas is leaking past the off position. Also my biggest complaint is when attempting to fill the gas tank with petrol it would not allow me to just pour it in without over-flowing. I thinking the screen mesh used in the gas intake must be extremely fine. It laterally took me 5 minutes to get 2 gallons of gas in the tank. cannot imagine what it would be like to put 8 gallons in it...
