Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great value Generator was easy to assemble (wheel kit, etc.); started on the second pull. Handled variety of loads during the break in period - handled the changes well. I haven't had it long enough for a long-term opinion yet. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This generator is exceeding all my expectations. I needed a generator for temporary use; the most important need being to run a 5hp OLD electric air compressor. I have heard horror stories about old compressors killing generators. So I did the math and this one was in the wattage ballpark so I bought it ON SALE cheaper then more powerful units. It kicks on that old compressor without an issue. While running a 'fridge and power tools... Win, win! It is also quieter then the aforementioned air compressor, I would keep it running 24/7 in a packed upscale neighborhood (not mine, I can do anything here) and I doubt anyone would complain. In summation: This generator is GREAT and the price from The Home Depot made it FANTASTIC! Thanks June 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Runs quiet Starts on one or two tries. Runs relatively quiet, several folks commented on that. I'm using it to power electrical equipment and tools in areas too far away to use extension cords. I selected this model for two reasons: it comes with a wheel kit allowing me to roll it up a ramp to a trailer or truck bed (100 pounds is more than I can lift); and I use it to run some 9-10 amp motors and compressors which draw 2 to 4 times normal amperage when starting. I have not had any problems with it. I'm getting ready to change the oil in it and it appears the drain is also the filler. August 21, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't handle near 30 Amps- Ok for lights only I bought this thinking I could use it in a storm emergency to run lights and start my well pump ON ITS OWN occasionally. It did not run the well pump AT ALL.My pump breaker and generator were both rated for 30 amps and the generator immediately shuts off even when it is the sole breaker on. Very disappointing and I would have definitely returned it but didn't try running on house until after the grace 30 day grace period- my fault. So, I'll sell it to someone that has city water or just needs an RV generator which is about all it is good for. September 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by value for price Some assembly required. Ships in display box. They should use better box for shipping. October 22, 2013
