Answer:
No, this is a mis-print....ONE (1) Gallon yields 250 sqft, so it stands to reason this 5-Gallon container would yield 1250 sqft.
As per the data sheet: "COVERAGE - 250 Sq Ft. /Gal @ 5.25 mils WMT - 2.2 mils DFT
(Actual coverage may vary depending on type of substrate, and application method.)"

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by much better than i expected for the price to prepare the pool for painting i drained, acid bathed, and scrubbed the plaster with comet cleanser. after it was thoroughly clean i let it air out for 2 full days. then i taped off the tile and spent about 4 hours putting the first coat on. the next day i spent about 2 1/2 hours putting on a thick second coat. the paint looked a little lighter while it was wet, but darkened and evened up nicely after a few hours. i plan on letting it dry for a full week before filling it (per the instructions.) it was easy very to apply, easy to cleanup, and a nice blue color (NO green/aqua, just light/sky blue.) i ordered 7 gallons based on a few online pool paint calculators but ended up needing only 5 gallons. i guess how much you'll need depends a lot on the condition of the surface, so just buy extra and put it on thick. i definitely recommend this paint and would use it again (especially at this comparably cheap price.) i'm very happy with the outcome considering the condition the plaster was in before (see pics) May 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by terrible stuff I prepared and applied as per instructions. Acid bath, tsp scrub, full dry time ect... It looked great for about two weeks. Then I noticed bubbles on the steps and seat. It has gotten progressively worse over the last couple weeks and has peeled up from most of the deep end and the walls! This is the third time over the years resurfacing my pool but the first using this product. Worst ever! June 22, 2015
