CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 56 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fills my need completely !! I have a modestly insulated 600 sq ft garage / shop and this heater does an excellent job of knocking the chill off within 20 minutes after firing it up. The flexibility of a unit like this also makes power outages in freezing temps much easier to deal with. December 30, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Received very quickly . Seems like its built good. On the low setting it puts out a lot of fumes. Have to leave the door in the garage open a little December 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Like a Champ The heater was received as advertised, with no damage. It is not as large, as I thought it looked in the picture, which is a good thing, it performed just as well, if not better than the larger type heaters available; that little heater churned out the heat. I have used it several times, in various rolls, since I received it and it has worked and performed better than I expected. OUTSTANDING HEATER!!! The self lighting feature works great and on the first try. I used it in a large side wall tent, on a recent camping trip and it really performed well. Due to its stable platform, I was able to leave it without worry thru the night and it really worked well to keep the tent warm all night. Great heater. Well built. Performs well. Would recommend and may even buy another. June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for price and provides a lot of heat. This heater warmed up my 487 sq ft garage from 40 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit, on a high setting, in about 40 minutes. The garage was partially insulated as I was working on putting compound on drywall joints. There was no door on yet, just a tarp to cover the entrance. There was no garage doors on, just 1/2" drywall to cover the opening. Once the garage was very insulated, I was able to easily raise the temperature 20 degrees with a low burning setting. The propane lasts a long time because once your temperature is reached, you can put it on the lowest setting. I had to let it run for about 5 hours on a low setting after painting and compound to help it dry. So the propane lasts a really long time on a low setting, probably a minimum of 25 hours is my guess. CON: The lowest setting is really not that low. If you let it burn on a low setting in a 200 sq ft insulated room, the temperature of the room would just rise and rise, not sustain a comfortable temperature. You also need a source of fresh air so you don't burn up the oxygen in the room. December 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product performs better than its size suggests. This heater performs very well. I use it in a partially insulated shop of about 500 square feet in Mid-Michigan. The temp will rise from 20 to 60 in about 1 hour at low setting. This heater will then hold between 60 and 70 still at low setting. For faster heat I have turned up setting slightly between low and medium. I am sure it would be even better once I insulate the ceiling. A 15 lb propane tank will last between 18 and 22 hours for me which is exactly what is stated in specs. The only con I would say is as, of course heat rises, the area at the floor stays a little chilly. December 21, 2013
