I'm not sure if it would do well mounted to a wall. For one thing you'd have to take it down every time you wanted to change the bottle of gas. Also, the controls are on the top, so would be more difficult to operate.

Answer:
No. The instruction manual is quite clear the gas cylinder has to be stored in an outside location. The heater is for use in a well ventilated space. It is specifically designed for construction use; so a garage with the door open is OK but a living room definitely not.

Answer:
Yes, if you follow the manufacturer's safe operating instructions. The key to safety is having adequate ventilation in the area that is being heated. This link provides a lot of information on heating with propane, including the signs that it is not burning properly, and thus producing excess carbon monoxide.

I think they are. I'm looking at this model because I saw it at a friends house. If you even jiggle it a little bit, or try to move/roll it while it's operating, it instantly cuts off the flame & propane.
It also has the oxygen sensor that will shut off if oxygen level gets too low.
But that is still no replacement for a good Smoke and CO detector as well as a large fire extinguisher.

I'm still on my first bottle of gas, so can't really say. I've used it three times, with all three burners going for the first hour or so, then down to two burners for several more hours. By tapping on the bottle, it sounds like it is still well over half-full.

According to the manufacturer, you get approx. 60 HOURS when using it on the *LOW* setting only..
{NOTE: I KNOW that I read that somewhere, but I'm unable to find that info at this time}
However, I find that to be fairly accurate. Some folks might get more. It depends on exactly how well the tank was filled with propane.
Each burner has an output of 6,000 BTU's. When on HIGH, it's quite Hot! (18,000 BTU's)
When it's on the highest heat level (as well as ANY heat level), make SURE you keep adequate room in front of the heater, above the heater and the sides. The owners manual will tell you exactly how far to keep it away from walls, furniture....etc.
Hope this helps. Read Less

Answer:
Depends on how long you use it and what setting, low..medium or high. High setting uses it up faster, so we turned it down to medium which still heated up the garage and it was in 20's outside. They used about 1/8 to 1/4 tank per day Saturday and Sunday, not bad, I guess, but much cheaper than kerosene.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 120 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this heater! Prior to purchasing the heater, I was using a kerosene heater in my garage. That was slow to start, and would stink if the wick was the least bit worn. The propane heater will heat the garage in about 20-30 minutes, and on low, will keep it toasty. There is no smell to speak of, as I have an intake and exhaust fan in my garage. The control knob is easy to operate. I read every review prior to making the purchase, and those that found they had problems probably didn't read the instructions. Mine has worked every time. The fuel consumption is outstanding. I have gone from over $80 a week for kerosene to $10 a week for propane. This heater has already paid for itself. I would highly recommend the heater for those needing a heated work space. April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hot little number Assembly is easy, and start up is quick. It puts out more heat than I expected and is easy to transport. I’ve used this heater in my work shop and in my garage. I have recommended this heater to my family and friends. April 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Caster problem The caster would not screw in do to a defective bolt they have sent me two new pieces both wrong still do not have the right part do not know what to do now March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice heater These heaters really produce a nice even heat on any of the three settings. Very good price at 50% off of regular price at $59.50 The only 2 drawbacks are a somewhat short propane hose and some excess sensitivity at the switch with the 2 white wires at the top left (from the rear) which can cause the pilot / panels to turn off. If you have this problem just jumper this switch. March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect heater Works good for my garage and I'm very happy with it March 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shed lp heater I had to get an adapter to hook to my lp tank, it took a little bit to figure it out but after all was said and done it is a great heater. Just hold the pilot button down while you push the igniter button and it started up just great. It doesn't take long to heat my shed. March 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice heater, works great! Heater is light and easy to use,Has 3 heat settings. March 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst ever Purchased this propane heater. Literally used it 3 times and now it doesn't light. Pilot will come on but never ignites the heating element. February 23, 2016
