Is there a pan or tray to catch the drippings from the meat? If not, isn't there a problem with clean-up?

there is a small slide out pan - the floor of the smoking box is molded so that "drippings" would flow to the pan. However, I use a water pan on the bottom of the smoking box, so that caught most drippings in my case - on purpose. Clean up is a breeze - depending on how quickly you get to it, and the type of charcoal/fuel you use in the firebox.

To my BBQ Masters. Should I season this smoker prior to use?

I have a few grills that I seasoned prior to use. Does the smoker need to be seasoned as well?

"Should" - I don't know for sure, but I did season mine before the first use. Just used some regular oil cooking spray on all the internal surfaces and burned solid wood in the fire box for four hours. I haven't owned this smoker before - so I can't say whether it helps the smoker last longer - but i'm sure the seasoning burned off any manufacturing residue and impurities. I would recommend it - with oil or without. Just set it up - and put a fire in the box - will help you figure out the thermostat and burn times as well.

does doors seal well.? does smoke leak out doors?

Yes. It's not bad - but yes, the seal is metal-on-metal so all areas leaked. I purchased some hi-temp, self-stick, gasket tape from a local bbq place and added it to the edges of the doors. That helped a lot. On the other hand - smokers smoke, so...

Received this smoker as a gift - used it last weekend (5/27/2017) for the first time. Overall - excellent. I burned solid wood and Kingsford charcoal during my cook. I had previously burned straight wood for four hours to season the smoker. A few downsides - the smoking box width is a little skinny for the size brisket and racks of ribs I generally cook. I smoked a trimmed 8 lbs full brisket - barely fit. I will use a separate point and flat next time to make is easier. I'll probably trim a few ribs off each rack and smoke them on a separate shelf. The doors close tightly, but they close metal-on-metal - so there is a lot of smoke leakage - and therefore heat leakage. I purchased some hi-temp gasket tape and applied that to the door seams - it helped some. The racks that hold the shelves could secure a little better - just be careful as you slide the meat in a out. Best feature - the temp gauge! I know - they all have one, but this one has a nice marked area for smoking temp range. It was so easy to view from across the patio - even without glasses. Made is much more convenient to monitor. Additionally - the offset fire box is fabulous in my opinion - with the heat source offset, your water pan will not evaporate as quickly and the draft through the chimney pulls smoke/heat very well. Excellent product for the price and features.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Unit with One Modification I've been using this unit weekly for the past two months. It has been a great unit but I was losing a lot of smoke through the door seals. After doing some research on-line I ordered a tube of high-temperature RTV and applied it between the door seals. Worked like a charm and the unit runs cooler with much improved temperature control.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from nice, but a lot of issues i ordered smoker online. when i got it, the temp gauge was broken and door was beat up. I called manufacturer and they said they would ship right out. Had to call again ,cause they didn't ship. Got new door and it was bent up too. so had to call again. finally got second door after 3 weeks. did have to seal between fire box and smoker. gap is too big where those two meet. it does work , but you have to do alot to it. would not recommend to anyone else. company needs better quality standards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. The first test... Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. The first test run resulted in great flavored chicken. The drawback to this item is the seal isn't tight and smoke escapes from both the firebox and main door. I will be making some modifications to correct this. I will also be adding something to the vent between the firebox and smoker to reduce ash from getting onto the food.

Easy to reload with Charcoal and wood. Don't hesitate. There Might be more elaborate or stronger smokers But at this price point it is fantastic.
