Does this come with a QCC fitting for the tank?

BTU adjustability, fuel consumption, forced fan

I'll assume that 40,000 wide open is not the only setting. How low can this go BTU wise? Is the fuel consumption rate based on running wide open and non stop? Does this unit forced hot air with an electric . fan motor? Thanks, Chuck
Asked by: Chuck
Only one setting. I too wish you could turn it down. Has a blower the really pushes the heat !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with heater This heater starts and works as it should. The heater it is quite noisy but I just turn up the radio. The hook up hose does not fit the new style propane tanks, lucky that I had a spare old style tank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied with quality I cant say that it heats up my 24x28 detached, uninsulated, open ceiling garage as well as most of the reviewers i read before i bought it. Im using a power strip with switch to make it easier than unplugging the blower every time. It does seem to ignite easily. I have it near the overhead door and raise it just a few inches when I'm using it. Kind of wish I'd have bought the 60k but for $10 more, but of course they use more l.p.

This is the second one I have tried and they just wont work after first burn. Both of the two units I bought fired up the first day and wouldn't light two days later. I talked with an industrial heater guy about these units and they apparently have a filament that burns up fast in higher altitudes.

Uses very minimal propane and was very easy to set up. It keeps the garage extremely warm even in sub below temps. Its a little loud, but nothing that is outragous.
