Fitting for tank

Does this come with a QCC fitting for the tank?
Asked by: SSTu22
it does fit standard propane tanks, i think all the people that say it dont fit are turning the fitting the wrong way as its left hand treads

BTU adjustability, fuel consumption, forced fan

I'll assume that 40,000 wide open is not the only setting. How low can this go BTU wise? Is the fuel consumption rate based on running wide open and non stop? Does this unit forced hot air with an electric . fan motor? Thanks, Chuck
Asked by: Chuck
Only one setting. I too wish you could turn it down. Has a blower the really pushes the heat !

40K BTU Forced Air Propane Portable Heater is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ready Noise This unit cranks out some heat and does so very quickly. The only drawback is the amount of noise that it generates, it's pretty loud when used in a confined space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with heater This heater starts and works as it should. The heater it is quite noisy but I just turn up the radio. The hook up hose does not fit the new style propane tanks, lucky that I had a spare old style tank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what its intended to do Only issue was getting it to start initially. I took a match to heat the igniter and then it worked ok. Heats my garage from 45 degrees to 65 degrees in about 15 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly As Expected Did a very good job heating an uninsulated 2 1/2 car garage, about 25 deg outside. Got 16 hours on 20 lb. propane tank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied with quality I cant say that it heats up my 24x28 detached, uninsulated, open ceiling garage as well as most of the reviewers i read before i bought it. Im using a power strip with switch to make it easier than unplugging the blower every time. It does seem to ignite easily. I have it near the overhead door and raise it just a few inches when I'm using it. Kind of wish I'd have bought the 60k but for $10 more, but of course they use more l.p.
